I really enjoyed judging this breed variety and was pleased and proud of my winners. Thank you to all my exhibitors for their support in the long journey North. A really lovely show and a good quality entry.

PD. (9). 1. Ergis’s, Siouxline Russell. A real quality 9 months old so well made with a lovely head shape and expression. Good reachy neck and forechest. Standing well with true front and pleasing hind angulation of width. In profile he looked so well balanced with good overall length. Very mature and so well grown on and put together which scored over those below. Pleased to award him the RCC. He moved out freely and truly with plenty of extension. His rear movement was also true with width. 2. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Way Down Low. Quality red of 8 months. Another whose outline and balance was pleasing for age. Kept a good outline on the move. Well made front and forequarters with prominent forechest. Pleasing topline. Well ribbed back. Preferred the maturity of expression of winner. The make and shape I like. Moved freely, good purpose and extention in front but a little closer than I’d prefer behind. 3. Punter’s, Welcumen Cool Dude.

JD. (3). 1. Widdup’s, Jondac Justin. 12 months old b/t having a good profile. I liked his head and expression which I preferred to second. Well made true front. Good feet. Has good overall length and balance. Well ribbed with good depth. Moved out freely in profile but needs to settle in front and rear. 2. McNaughton’s, Bronia L’Artista. Another 12 months old. Nicely made red male with a good future. Similar make and shape to winner but needs more maturity and definition in expression. Moved out well in front but was unsettled behind which spoilt it for me. Pleasing profile when standing. 3. McAulay’s, D’Arisca Ensor Doone at Elnside.

PGD. (3). 1. Bourhill’s, Bronia D’Allegro by Drydenlaw. 3 years old mature red male. Well made front and forequarters with plenty of forechest. Would like more length overall to complete the picture. Good enough topline when standing but tended to lose it on the move. Moved out well and the best of the class. 2. Ashwell’s, Granadan Sam. Mature b/t male of good age. Well made with a tidy profile. Pleasing head and expression. True front of good width. Well let down hindquarters which I would prefer stronger. Tended to lose his topline. Moved free but a little unsettled. 3. Dolan’s, Shardagang Tex Mex.

LD. (4). 1. (4). 1. Melbourne’s, Melriding Post Hac Melidra. Well made 21 months old b/t male having a super profile which won him this class. He has good length and balance. True front, good angulation front and rear. Plenty of forechest, depth and ribbing. Hindquarters are well made with good width and strength. Moved out well. 2. Luke’s, Corrieknowe Circassin. Mature 4 years old b/t. Super head and expression. True front and good feet. Prominent forechest having plenty of depth. Good angles front and rear but a little unbalanced in profile. Got his placing on free true movement. 3. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Inkel Impresario.

OF (5). 1. Mead’s, D’Arisca Dennison. Real quality 2 and a half years old b/t male. Caught my eye and did not disappoint on closer inspection. He is of the make and shape I like. Super profile balance front and rear. Soundly made front and rear with all the breed qualities. His good conromation showed when he moved out soundly with purpose and extension front and rear. Pleased to award him the CC which I later learned gave him a well deserved title. 2. Punter’s, Ch. Welcumen Mr Cool. 2 years old red male of sound construction. Another with super qualities of conformation. Lovely profile. Good overall length and balance front and aft. True front of good width well angulated hindquarters. but tended to be unsettled on the move. 3. McFadyen’s, Tamdach Taboo.

PB. (12). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Art and Design. Wow! This is a super youngster of 8 months who won from a class of quality. She has all the attributes I look for and appreciate. Super head and expression. So well made throughout. She has balanced angles in all the right places. Overall length just right. Lovely topline, depth and good ribbing. She moved out soundly and with drive and purpose. Could not deny her the CC and BOB. The first of many I am sure. Good to see her shortlisted in the Group. 2. Baye’s, Batendach Copyright. Another well made 10 months old youngster. A little longer on the leg than winner but is so sound and balanced with lovely overall body length. Sound topline. Classic head and attractive expression. Moved out well, matching my other winners in movement qualities. 3 Mead’s Minimead Miss Peggy Sue.

JB (5) 1 Orton’s Scalamor Pussy Willow. 13 month old youngster, B/T. Having the best best profile and balance in the class. Pleasing head and expression. Very typical exhibit, well made forequarters and true front. Good topline and angulation front and rear. Moved out well and true. 2 Meshutt’s Shemby Hocus Pocus of Donnadoon. Attractive type of 14 months, having balance and pleasing profile. Good head shape and expression.Nice length of neck. True front and good width. Well made body with good topline. Well let down hindquarters of good width which was kept on the move, but was unsettled in topline. 3 Williams’ Shardagang Mead at Tythe.

PGB (6) 1 Callow’s Garthornme Leonie. 13 month old quality red youngster, having a pleasing overall profile. She is well made and has good angulation front and rear. She is well balanced and has good overall length to depth proportions. True front and rear and has good width and stands firm. Moved out well, free and true. 2 Rowell’s Emmajesk Starlight JW Sh CM. 21 month old b/t youngster who is well grown and well made. Typy feminine head of good shape and expression. Good length of neck and body with a pleasing topline. Well made front. Good depth well ribbed back. Well angled hindquarters of good width. Moved well. Winner just had the edge on overall length and purposful movement. 3. Humes’s, Mowbray Music Maker to Zoflora.

LB. (8). 1. Erigs’s, Bronia Stunning Sophia for Siouxline JW Sh CM. Super quality red. Having all the attributes of a top winner. A real eyecatcher in profile both standing and on the move. Super head and expression. Superb in side gait when on the move. Well made throughout. A top class bitch in top class company when challenging got the CC. 2. Callow’s, Garthorne Lady In Black. Lovely typy b/t coming up to 3 years. Mature and well made. Another with a lovely head shape and attractive expression. Pleasing overall profile and balance. Preferred hindquarters width and strength of winner. Went well on the move especially in front but unsettled and close behind. 3. Crawley’s, Donnadoon Elouise at Dujac.

OB. (4). 1. Hunt’s, Ch. Carpaccio Shopaholic JW. Top class well made mature b/t. Eyecatching profile. Sound body conformation. Mature all through. Lovely head and expression. Good front forequarters, depth and ribbing. Good overall length profile. When standing up looked a picture but lost it by sinking into her legs when examined. Moved the best of the class but tended to be close behind. Gave way to the quality youngster on the day but pleased to award her the RCC. 2. Blackburn-Bennett’s, Shardagang Pavlova. Mature 4 year old red having good conformation. Good make and shape but tended to lose her underline. Well made forequarters and forechest. Balanced and good overall profile. Pleasing angulation and width both front and rear. Moved out well in front but a little loose in rear movement. 3. Callow’s, Ch. Garthorne Highlight.
