 The quality in this variety continues to improve. All shown in good condition, but wrinkle and rear movement still a problem. Conditions today not ideal to see the dogs at their best.

JD (6, 3) 1 Callow’s Garthorne Top Gear. Quality youngster, masculine head, long neck into well placed shoulders, good top and underline, nice quarters, steady mover, just needs to firm in rear hind movement. 2 Ergis Siouxline Maverick. Elegant red, lovely head and eye, long neck into well placed shoulders, good ribbing, true in front, just a touch wide behind. Close decision. 3 Perkins’ R Old John.

PGD (4) Disappointing class. 1 Perkins’ R Old John. Nice steady type but needs more verve to see him at his best. 2 Hughes’ B Code Red To J. Nice head, level topline but needs to settle in movement. 3 Reeves’ Zarosa Red Rum.

LD (2, 1) 1 Orton’s Seelamoor Solomons Seal. Quality b/t, nice to go over, would prefer better underline, moved out well.

OD (3, 1) 1 Ergis Siouxline Indigo ShCh JW. Elegant b/t, lovely neck flows into well placed shoulders, correct outline, both stacked and on move, prominent forechest and depth of keel, good ribbing, strong hindquarters giving good positive movement. CC. 2 Callow’s Garthorne Garcia. B/t with lovely head and eye, elegant neck, good front and keel, level topline, strong quarters, nice mover, close up on 1. Res CC.

PB (3, 1) 1 Reeds Deercroft Royal Romance. Quality girl, nice type, all essentials, just needs to settle in movement. 2 Blackhem’s Deersleep Angel Delight. Steady, nicely constructed little bitch, good head, front and topline, moved well, preferred neck on one.

JB (7). Good class. 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Royal Parade. Quality b/t, nice size, lovely head and expression, reachy neck into well placed shoulders, good front, length and spring of rib, strong quarters, top this with super attitude and expertly handled, she was so impressive on the move. A well earned CC and BOB. 2 Meads Minimead Miz Lucy Lou. Lovely quality and so well balanced b/t, still a puppy, has all the essentials giving lovely outline, stacked and on the move, very sound. One for the future. BP. 3 Ergis Siouxline Evangelina.

PGB (3) 1 Mead’s Minimead Miss Behaving. Shown in gleaming condition, scored in head, neck, front and ribbing, good top and underline, sound mover, stood away in this class, liked her a lot. 2 Young’s Youngline Unique Dream. Nice overall, moved ok. 3 Watson’s B Nite Nite.

LB (5). Another good class. 1 Callow’s Garthorne Gazania JW. Nice quality bitch from this kennel, well proportioned body, good top and underline, lovely quarters, used well on the move. 2 Salisbury’s Brocklewood Babycham. Feminine red of good colour, lovely front, well ribbed, level top and underline, good muscled quarters, very close up on one. 3 Ergis & Coxon’s D’amsca Define The Dream.

OB (4) 1 Meads Minimead Maid Specially. Consistent quality bitch I have come to expect from this kennel, super for type, scores in head, ribbing, legs and feet, good top and underline, strong quarters which she used to advantage, strongly contested the ticket in the challenge. Her day must come. Res CC. 2 Callows Garthorne Leonie. A real favourite of mine, very good head, nice dark eye, good neck and front, beautifully presented, super outline on the move. 3 Lashbrook’s M Home Run At Highbend.
