PD (7,1a) 1 Kent’s Lokmadi A Boy Named Sue, nice make & shape, long neck, good ribbing, well made rear with good bend of stifle, good top & underline. Moved soundly & was well muscled; 2 Melbourne & Holdsworth’s Melriding Perkin Warbeck, nice youngster, with good legs & feet, balanced fore & aft, plenty of ribbing, not quite the underline of 1. Moved out well; 3 Paget & Carroll’s Ygeia Magic Touch at Marvale. JD (2) 1 Mitchell’s Ygeia Landgraf 1 for Bronia, liked his head & preferred his front & bone to 2. Good rear, moved out well with drive, just tended to fall away over his croup at times; 2 Hunt’s Mylforbe Matchmaker at Carpaccio, nice dog but I would like a bit more of him all over, was well ribbed with a short loin, good top & underline & moved OK. PGD (1) 1 Shutt’s Shantallah All Spiced Up for Donnadoon, head OK, would prefer more ground clearance, good bend of stifle & moved OK. LD (3) 1 Paget & Carroll’s Bronia Valente of Marvale, liked his overall type, OK in head, clean through his front, good ribbing, rear OK, moved out well & had a good top & underline. RCC; 2 Melbourne’s D’Arisca Flaunt It at Melriding, different type, good front & rear, well ribbed back, movement was good in profile, but not so positive going away from you; 3 Weir’s D’Arisca Prince Of Darkness at Mabreglo. OD (2) 1 Daykin’s Ch Barratini Johnny Cash, head OK with good infill under his eye, long neck into good front with clean tight elbows, liked his length of ribbing & short loin. Moved well all ways. CC; 2 Bastable’s Ch Chrishanes Maxwell Edison, nice dog who was presented in good condition, strong jaw, OK through his front, reasonable ribbing, & moved OK.

PB (4) 1 Mitchell’s Denver Darling Senorita at Bronia, loved this puppy. Good head & length of neck, super front & so balanced, enough ribbing, good top & underline. Moved out so soundly & with that true Dachshund confidence. CC, BOB & BP; 2 Bate’s Batendach Say It With Flare, slightly finer type to 1, but with lots to like, just not very happy with her surroundings today; 3 Kent’s Lokmadi Scribble. JB (3) 1 Kent’s Goodnight Irene, head OK, liked her front & rear, held her outline & moved well; 2 Paget & Carroll’s Bronia Vittoria of Marvale, a sound moving youngster, but there just wasn’t enough of her for me; 3 Davis’ Barleyfield Rumour Has It. PGB (1) 1 Midgley Benzden Tuscan Rose, head OK, good length of ribbing & moved out happily. LB (4,2) 1 Shuker’s Hudgemoor Much Ado at Yewlitt, not quite my type of head, good front & plenty of ribbing, well bent stifles, moved well. Was presented in gleaming condition; 2 Daykin’s Barratini Jennifer Eccles, a nice girl who was really giving her handler a hard time today & determined not to show off her attributes. OB (7,1) 1 Williams & Moes’ Ch/Lux/Mys Ch Cwmdarhian Cara Mia, liked her balance, head OK, enough ribbing, good bend of stifle, moved out well but could have had more muscletone; 2 Kent’s Lokmadi Paper Tiger, good head & front, liked her top & underline, moved OK; 3 Hunt’s Carpaccio Crimson Ribbon.
