Enjoyed judging these today. When stacked a lot look very good but the movement is mostly disappointing & needs to be considered when breeding.
PD (9,2a) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Casablanca, this b/t had a great shape & clean outline, he is so well constructed in his front & this showed in his sound movement which made him the class winner; 2 Coxon’s Distinctly So D’Arisca, this is a very classy red puppy, super outline & reach of neck, strong rear. Not at this stage as positive in front as 1; 3 Williams & Moes’ Cwmdarhian You Been Tangoed. JD (1) 1 Ergis’ Siouxline Aaron, this red has a great positive stance, good front, deep keel, firm topline, well muscled quarters. Overall picture very pleasing RCC. PGD (4,1) 1 Collins’ Irenvy Pretty Boy with Papasaigoud, b/t with good headpiece & ear leathers, good shape on the table, very clean shoulder, sound in front, in good show condition; 2 Leishman & Hernan’s Dayjaris I’m Your Man, br/t, good balance to size & overall shape, arched neck. Not quite the clean shoulder of 1. Another in good condition; 3 Fieke’s Lustrum Bachelor Boy. LD (5,1) 1 Coxon & Weir’s D’Arisca Prince Of Darkness at Ambreglo, loved this b/t for his great shape & clean outline, good head & expression, neck length, firm strong topline, loin short & strong. A challenger for the CC but seemed bored in the challenge, a great pity; 2 I Pretty Boy with Papasaigoud; 3 Paget & Carroll’s Bronia Valente of Marvale. OD (3) 1 Ergis’ Ch Siouxline Flynn Rider, this arrogant all male knows he is superior, he just has a great shape, very good feet, prominent sternum, good shoulders, strong very sound rear, in tip top condition. CC. VD (0).
PB (8,3) 1 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Star Anise, fell for this real baby, great attitude, most pleasing outline & clean cut shape, very sound on the move. Enjoyed her day out. BP; 2 Paterson’s Zanatra Here We Go Again, choc/dapple, good head & expression, deep chest, strong loin, moved soundly fore & aft. Can be a bit proud of her tail but she is only a baby enjoying herself; 3 Baker’s Jentiki Flora. JB (4) 1 Mitchell’s Denver Darling Senorita at Bronia, a classy b/t who caught my eye when she entered the ring for her overall balance, great outline & presence. Challenged the winners hard today but lacked enthusiasm in the final challenge; 2 Herrington’s Kathington Chance Be A Lady, quality red, pleasing head & eye shape, strong neck with good flow to shoulder, moved soundly fore & aft, in good body condition; 3 Coxon’s D’Arisca Dizzy Heights. PGB (10,2) 1 Paterson & Paterson’s Shelsall Ginger Rogers at Ambiesque, a quality red, in great show condition, great head & expression, good shoulders, firm body, well muscled, topline firm on the move & when stacked. Should do very well. Full of verve & attitude which won her the RCC today; 2 Gorman’s Gordax Black Beauty, b/t, close up to 1 in shape. Not quite the neck of 1. Great topline, sound rear & strong mover; 3 Salisbury’s Brocklewood Black Rose. LB (9,1) 1 Paget & Carroll’s Bronia Vittoria of Marvale, this red has attitude, great outline & shape at all times. In good firm show condition, best mover in this class; 2 Blackburn’s Stargang Desert Vixen, liked this red for her classic shape, size & clean outline. On the move not the strength of back movement of 1. Shown in super condition; 3 Ergis & Melbourne’s Siouxline Rapunzel with Melriding. OB (5) 1 Williams & Moes’ Picollo Teckel Gothika, this bitch is quite breathtaking for her outline. Best of firm level toplines, so sound in front & behind, perfect feminine size. Nothing about her I would change except her colour is a little muddy. Easily won BOB today, in superb condition. CC & BOB; 2 Coxon’s D’Arisca Damsel In A Dress, most pleasing b/t who was unlucky to meet 1 as she is quality. Great shape & outline. Just not the power of 1 on the move; 3 Mortlock’s Hertsmerry Catch A Star. VB (0).
