Thank you to the Committee for inviting me to judge the mini smooth dachshunds and thank you to the exhibitors that gave me a good entry.
Overall I was pleased with the quality of the breed very few dirty teeth and only a handful of long nails!! The only worrying thing is that many of the bitches are only 9-9.5lbs yes, we want to keep miniatures within the ideal weight of 11lb . BUT . dont lets have mini dachshunds that too small and unsuitable to be bred from.
My main winners were superb and both the best dog and bitch puppy I will follow carefully as I am sure they will have a fab career ahead of them.

1st Duddondaxs Judge Jude for Jenivon - Mrs J Jennings. Red dog of good substance, well covered. Lovely head with good ear set and nice eye. Good front and depth with good shoulders leading into adequate ribbing nice rear angulation giving good free movement.
Minor Puppy Dog 6/1
1st Shantallah Simply Red Mr MJ and Mr GJ Paget and Carroll. Super shaded red lovely masculine head and almond eye. Compact but with good ribbing and length of loin. Super rear angulation which gave good movement spirited young lad.
2nd Rosamie Tiger Feet Mr J Magrie. Brindle young dog who needed a little time to settle. Lovely outline both standing and, on the move, good shoulder placement which flowed into good ribbing moved true back and forth.

1st Normpug Roman Holiday Mrs I Forge. B/T dog lovely cinical head shape with good eye. Nice length of neck and good shoulders moved well.
2nd Scenterbay Rafael for Ruichango Miss M Corominas. Sh Red boy lovely head and eye. Good length of neck and rib nice rear angulation moved slightly wide for me today.

1st Rijobeau Rumours with Llennocor Mr R & Mrs A OConnell. B/T dog nice head and eye good length of neck. Good ribbing with adequate keel. Moved well with good drive, pleased to award him the RCC.
2nd Daxiemoors Smoking Hot Miss AJ Woods. Red boy taller than 1 and preferred the length of ribbing of 1 nice head and good eye moved well.

1st Melriding Black Tom Mrs DA, Messrs M&G Melbourne, Pagett and Carroll. Black and Tan dog - Good head with strong underjaw, nice front with good forechest, super length of ribbing with correct loin & good rear angulation, he looked super on the move with good reach & drive. Pleased to award him the DCC.
2nd Kelcardi Planet Mars Miss AJ Woods Red dog unlucky to meet 1. Slightly taller than 1 super front and rib lovely rear angulation which gave a good driving movement.

1st Stargang Dantes Inferno for Dynastydax Mr JM Rudkin. Think this little lad had been given a few strong words by his owner following the minor puppy class!! Nice head and eye good reach of neck with nice ribbing. Moved well in this class shame he didnt in the previous one.
2nd Mylforbe Barbeau Miss AJ Woods. Brindle lad super outline with good topline nice head and good almond eye, nice length of neck and ribbing - would just like a stronger rear end

1st Lokmadi Call Me Louis Rozamie Mr J Magrie. Brindle dog well marked. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Would have liked a bit more ribbing however nice rear angulation and this gave him good movement.
2nd Llansansior Chervil Mr M & Mrs D Wood. Lovely red dog well constructed and well covered. Just a little too large for me but a pleasure to go over and watch on the move.

1st Bronia Gaspare Miss AJ Woods. Shaded red who moved with purpose around the ring. Lovely tight feet well balanced boy. Good head and eye pleasing to watch.
2nd Carpaccio Red Alert for Essandsee Mr S~I & Ms CI Band & Mccarthy. Darker shaded red good length of neck with good shoulder placement nice rib and rear angulation but preferred the movement of 1 today.

1st CH Riowood Red Boots JW Mr L & Mrs L Cross & Black. Red dog of super quality with lovely free movement. Nice head and eye, adequate ribbing and length of loin. good bend of stifle.
2nd CH Marvale Firecrest Mr MJ & Mr GJ Paget & Carroll. Lovely to watch on the move with a good outline good head/eye and ribbing close choice today.

1st Ardenrun Sea Shanty by Keimantre Mrs A Tree.10-year-old red bitch Good dentition and a very fit lady for her age. Lovely head and eye with soft expression. Adequate front and length of ribbing moved well . just the white wiskers gave the age away. BVIB.
2nd Redgi Prado Sybella Mrs J Zaivej. Shaded red girl slightly larger frame than 1 and younger. Good shape and covered the ground well.

1st Melriding Silver Spangle Mrs DA Melbourne. Silver dapple girl who just Oozes quality with a capital O moves like a dream. Super head and eye good length of neck super ribbing and rear angulation One to watch for the future as I think she will fly.
2nd Beachdax Girl of my Dreams Miss LMB & Messrs LJB and AB Beach. Brindle girl with super qualities similar shape to 1. Just 6 months with it all ahead of her. Lovely head and eye, good length of ribbing and moved well . Shame to meet 1 today.
3rd Winterfield Lady in Red Mrs R & Miss SJ Herald.

1st Jenivons Black Finch Mrs J Jennings. B/T girl of 10 months. Lovely long length of ribbing super head and eye good bend of stifle and she covered the ring with good driving movement.
2nd From Redteckel Story Maxin for Devondax Miss K Small. Smaller type than 1 however feminine head and expression. Good shoulder placement leading into a nice length of ribbing. Good angulation which gave good true movement around the ring.

2nd Jenivons Jenny Wren Mrs J Jennings. Sh Red bitch longer type than 1. Nice head and neck nice length of ribbing good rear angulation which enabled her to cover the ground well with purpose.

1st Melriding Sisi Mrs DA, Messrs M&G Melbounre, Paget & Carroll. B/T girl Super to go over nothing in exaggeration just right. Fabulous ribbing and good bend of stifle. Moved with purpose.
2nd Ruletadax Levitica Miss AJ Woods. B/T bitch of a taller type. Lovely head and eye good angulation and moved with drive.
3rd Victorypaw Gaya of India Mrs J Zaivej

1st Ruletadax Aguila Miss AJ Woods Silver dapple bitch longer in body than I would like but of good proportion. Feminine head and eye good solid front with good rear angulation. She won the class on movement.
2nd Dynastydax Pebbles Mr JM Rudkin same comments as previously but she was more settled.

1st Siouxline Elizabeth at Duchyroyal Mrs C Landry. Elegant B/T bitch good rib and loin well covered but not overweight. Feminine head and ear good ear set. Nice angulation which allowed her to move freely around the ring.
2nd Siouxline Mary Rose Mrs S Ergis. Another girl from the Siouxline kennel similar comments as above just preferred the free movement of 1 today.
3rd Grews Iridessa for Kiddles Mrs J Halsall.

1st Jenivons Miss Marple Mrs J Jennings. Red bitch of super quality. Good conical head with dark eye.Good front, shoulders well laid back flowing into a rib length, strong loin and sound rear. Nicely balanced throughout and sound mover covering the ground. Pleased to award her the RBCC.
2nd Lois Lane Chekys Hojanmit at Daxiemoors Miss L James. A super girl who I have been waiting to go over. Everything in the right place and moved with purpose and drive however sadly a little plump today . but im sure she will be back to top form !
