I am very grateful to the exhibitors for giving me this great entry in this day and age. Second highest in the hound group. I had been looking forward to judging Mini Smooths for many years and had almost given up that I would ever get the chance to judge them. I will apologise now but I am not the greatest critique writer. I find it very difficult to put down what I like into words. From the 90 dogs that were entered 26 were absent. One exhibit had an overshot bite and one was twisted. PD (7,3) 3. 1, BP, DCC. Hanney-Mitchell, Bronia Daimmen. 10 mth old b/t of good size and shape. Correct head and length of neck. Excellent front and depth of brisket. Good rib cage and top line. A joy to watch on the move. I was delighted to award him the CC but very surprised it was his third. May he soon gain his title when he turns 12 mths.2. Tite’s J Llennocor Little Red Devil. Good size and shape. Would prefer slightly better shaped skull and a touch to pointed in muzzle for me. Correct front, top line and hind quarters. Pleasing on the move. 3. Mason’s Teckeltown The Showman. JD (5,1) 1. Mason’s Teckeltown Lord Of The Rings. Red brindle 9 mths old. Excellent head and length of neck. Prefer better front with less wrinkling but hope that may go with maturity. Correct depth of brisket, good rib cage and top line. Sound on the move. 2. Forge’s Normpug Roman Holiday. B/t 10 mths with good head, neck and shoulder. Good body. Like better in top line and very close behind on the table. Prefer better in rear movement. 3. Magri’s Rozamie Tiger Feet. PGD (2,1) 1. Strange’s P Bronia’s Armand At Cazdachs. 19 mths and quite large enough for me in body and size. Would like better shaped head, good eye shape and body. Strong in rear movement but not good in front. LD (7,2) 1, Res DCC. Bullis’ Amaffrey Henry. B/T 23 mths. This lad is lovely standing and moving with excellent head, eco front and feet. Good top line and hind quarters. 2. Melbourne, Carroll & Paget Bronia Gustave 0f Melriding. Just a month younger than winner and very similar in body and movement. Good head and neck with correct front and feet, good top line and depth of brisket. Pleasing on the move. 3. Wilkinson & Wakeham, Bronia Gabriel For Wakywilks JW. OD (8,1) . A difficult class to judge with different types and sizes. 1. Bullis’ Ch Amaffrey Jessie James JW. B/T 3 yr old with pleasing head, neck, front and excellent top line. Good in hind quarters, deep brisket and excellent on the move. A very worthy champion. 2 Beach’s Riowood Arizona JW. Red brindle 6 yr old with good head and neck. Excellent front but would like better feet. Good top line and hind quarters. Pleasing on the move. 3. Gentle’s Dimogen Stargazer. SBD (4 ,1) Roberts’ Venari Full House. 2 yr old with beautiful masculine head and correct top line. He is poor on the stand and front movement. 2. Wilkinson & Wakeham Bronia Donatello For Wakywilks. Good standing but poor in hindsight movement. Good head. Would like better in front with less wrinkling to the legs. Stoner in the rear. 3. Roberts’ Ruletadax Russia With Love. VB (1) 1, BV. Gittins’ Markidachs Saffrons Dream At Boomerloo. 7 yr old B/T happy personality with pleasing head and neck, good front and top line. Sound on the move. MPB (6,1) 1 Wilkinson & Wakeham Wakywilks Celestial.7 mths B/T of good size and shape. Pleasing size and shape with good head and neck, front and depth. Correct top line and pleasing on the move. 2. Small’s Glynlythe’s Heirloom. 7 mth old Red. Good in outline with excellent top line, front and rear. Not quite so good as winner on the move but should come with age. 3. Barbi’s Fiery Ember. PB (10,4) 1. Blackburn’s Stargang Seraphina. 10 mth old Red with well shaped head, good length of neck, correct front and feet. Good body and top line. Correct brisket and rib cage. Good on the move. 2. Beach’s Beachdax Girl Of My Dreams. 10 mth old Red brindle. Lovely head, neck, front, top line and depth of brisket. Pleasing on the move. 3. Hanney-Mitchell, Bronia Blayze. JB (8,2) 1 Mason’s Teckeltown The Show Girl. 16 mth Red. Eautiful young bitch of the correct size and shape. Excellent head and expression, with good front, top and hind quarters. Excellent on the move. Should in my opinion have a good future. 2. Tite’s Rijobeau Rita Bix. 16mth old B/T with good head and expression. Correct front, top and brisket. Good hind quarters. Good on the move. 3. Wilkinson’s Bronia Bijoux For Wakywilks. PGB (9,2) 1. Roberts’ Venari Three Of A Kind. Red. Lovely in outline. Pleasing head, neck, shoulder, front and feet. Good depth. Correct rib cage and top line good on the move front and rear. 2. Blackburn’s Stargang Black Olive. Very little to separate one and two. In my opinion the second was just a tad longer in body to the winner. She is beautiful on the move and around the ring. 3. Lane’s Kenxtwen Merguez. LB (8,2) 1, Res BCC. Ergis’ Siouxline Mary Rose JW. 19 mths and a beautiful bitch of quality. I thought I had found my bitch winner but just outclassed on maturity by the open winner. This bitch is sure to gain her title with time. Excellent size and shape with pleasing head, neck, front and feet. Correct top line and hind quarters. Good depth of brisket and excellent on the move. 2. Mason’s Marvale Crimson Sunbird At Teckeltown. 14 mth also a quality top bitch with pleasing head, front, top line front and feet. Correct top line and just beautiful on the move. 3. Melbourne, Carroll, & Paget, Melriding Sisi. OB (12) Class full of quality bitches. 1, BCC, BOB. Paget & Carroll’s Ch Marvale Sandpiper. 2 1/2 yr old Red with excellent head and neck. Correct front and depth of brisket. Top quality well muscled with correct hind quarters. Excellent on the move. 2. Hunt’s Mylforbe Red Velvet At Sunara. Pleasing head and expression. Good top line, front and rear. Good on the move. 3. Williams & Moe’s Ch Cwmdarhian Cold As Ice SBB (10,1) 1, BSB. Wilkinson & Wakeham’s Wakywilks I See Fire. 6 mths old and a pleasing youngester, with good head, front and shoulder placement. She just needs to settle on the move. 2. Lane’s Kenxtwen Merguez. Well handled by this young lady. Pleasing head, neck, body. Prefer better in front. Good depth and top line. Ok on the move. 3. Rose’s Pennydach Mystique At Rosencrantz.
