MINIATURE LONG HAIRED

I would like to thank my stewards for keeping the classes going smooth. To the exhibitors I would like to say thank you for the presentation of your hounds. The quality of the dogs was of the highest standard, the best I have judged for some yrs. Decisions were close & competition like this is gd for the breed.

MPD (4). 1 Worswick’s Dolyharp Don Basilio. V smart cream, lovely shape, gd front, correct top line, moved well, would have liked him finer all through; 2 Butler’s Maundowne Momentum. Nice red, gd head & neck, lovely coat for one so young, not as mature as winner, v promising p; 3 Brook’s Blackthorne at Lyndarlea.

PD (2). 1 McLean’s Maxwin Follow The Sun. Shaded cream, beautiful head & eye, v gd front, deep brisket, level top line, correct hindquarters, v gd mover BPD; 2 Duchesne’s Scandell’s Main Attraction. Red male, not the head of the winner, but scores in body, moved v well.

JD (3). 1 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Tiger. Shaded red of top quality, super head & neck, gd keel, gd legs, correct body & top line, in excellent condition, lovely mover, I was really taken with him RCC; 2 Collin’s Ambermist Midnight Magic. B/t v gd head, nice neck, gd front & top line, moved well.

GD (4). 1 Brook’s Lyndarlea Bounty Boy. This is a v nice d, has lots going for him, nice head, excellent outline, v gd mover, sure to do well; 2 Burr’s Dinkidudlor George Mi Man at Burrdach. Cream, gd head but overshadowed by the winner, moved ok.

PGD (5). 1 Croxford’s Arbroath Mr Macsporran. Black & tan, v nice head, the first thing you notice about this boy is his excellent movement, gd strong body liked him a lot; 2 Brace’s Ralines Sunny Delight with Xemxija. Shaded cream, gd head, nice dark eye, gd neck, correct outline, moved well in a strong quality class; 3 Brook’s Dark Night Black Magic at Lyndarlea.

LD (9). 1 Bedford’s Dinkidulor Bracken Boara. A brindle male of top quality, lovely head & neck, gd front, deep brisket, well balanced body, moved really well; 2 Farmer’s Jenwood Fields Of Gold. Red d, another of super quality, excellent type, in top condition, moved well, close decision; 3 Garman’s Albaney Cornish Cream.

OD (4). 1 Norton’s Halunke Mister Baggins. A red male from the top draw, masculine head but not so strong neck, excellent front, v mature body moves with aplomb, a real eyecatcher DCC; 2 Naden’s Marielle’s Brigadier Jerard. Another top dog, black & tan, beautiful balance & outline, lovely coat, v gd mover, has a lovely smile; 3 Watkin’s Bidornis Pinball Wizard.

MPB (6). 1 Johnson’s Charpurdy’s Star Of The East. A red baby, v promising, sweet expression, lovely head, nice coat, moved v well; 2 Brook’s Maundowne Modern Millie at Lyndarlea. Black & tan, nice head, gd neck & front, she is a v nice youngster full of promise; 3 Turner’s Rafthouse Too Darn Hot.

PB (10). 1 Edward’s Barok Bonnechere. Red with black fringes, lovely head, neck & front, she has a beautiful expression, she is so well balance & moved with flair, a star of the future, BPIB; 2 Norton’s Halunke Miss Martini. She is a beautiful p such a lovely head, gd front & feet, nice keel, level top line, not v happy in todays conditions; 3 Brace’s Dash Dot Com Bon Viveur.

JB (6). 1 Turner’s Rafthouse Tallulah. Excellent red, beautiful head, elegant neck, gd front, correct top line, nice hindquarters, moved v well; 2 Burge & Rossiter’s Barok Bellerania of Creekpit. Another beautiful hound, lovely head, correct outline, firm top line, great mover; 3 Richardson’s Sirrondach Ebony Macadamia.

GB (8). 1 Edward’s Barok Zola Bella. Black & tan of top quality, would like coat in better condition, lovely head, excellent front, gd body v gd bite, moved v well; 2 Richardson’s Sirrondach Ebony Pistachio. Another black & tan, lovely coat, nice head, gd body, v gd condition, moved well; 3 Oxley’s Dinkidax Amaryllis.

PGB (8) 1 Young’s Willowheath Hot Gem. A b of quality this black & tan has a beautiful head, dark eye, lovely front & feet, correct keel, not overdone in anyway, gd hindquarters, moved v well; 2 Naden’s Marielle’s Best Of The Best; 3 Humphries’ Rossglen Romonette at Avonlea.

LB (6). 1 Croxford’s Arbroath Lady Hannah. A red b from the top drawer, beautiful head, lovely neck & front, presented in first class condition, excellent mover, looked gd in an excellent line up; 2 Naden’s Marielle’s Haywoods Lamb. A lovely b all the above apply to Lamb, she pushed the winner close; 3 McLean’s Maxwin Lady Madonna.

OB (12). 1 Goddard’s Ch Minard Krystal Darque. What a smasher. I have never seen this girl before, she is stunning beautiful lean head, excellent expression, she is so correct. ‘Krystal’ has type, condition & showmanship, moves with purpose CC & BOB; 2 Blackshaw’s Minard She’s A Peach at Ravenways. Littler sister to ‘Krystal’, although she is red & Krystal is b/c, slightly heavier but a class act, two of the best movers I’ve seen RCC; 3 Norton’s Halunke Miss Elanor.
