MINIATURE LONGHAIRED

Not having judged the Miniature Longs for some time, I was very disappointed with the overall quality. Quite a lot were just skin and bone with no substance. Looking back on my notes of a few years ago, I wrote the same comment. My awards were given accordingly and I was pleased with my winners. MPD . (2). 1. Grahamn's, Jadag Forton's Caramel. Stunning chocolate puppy. Excellent front. Good reach of neck. Good underline, well developed quarters which he used to advantage on the move. Pleased to award him BP and RCC. Promising future. Delighted to see him go BPIS. 2. Kennedy's, Denkena's Solar Storm. B/t. Another promising puppy. Not as mature as winner. Good head and reach of neck. Nice front, quarters will develop more with time. PD. (3). 1. Lockett-Walters and Walter's, No Name Given. Promising puppy. Good head and reach of neck. Well made front assembly. Nice ribbing. Moved out well. Needs time. 2. Mee's, Barlaines Golden Striker. Good reach of neck and well bodied. On the move was not quite as positive as winner. Again just needs time. 3. Brooks', Lyndarlea Atlantica. JD. (1). 1. Roberts', Denver Dream Lover. Cream. Lovely head. Good reach of neck flowing into level topline. Good pro sternum and correct shoulders. Well ribbed. Good bone and nice feet. Used his well developed quarters on the move and really covered the ground. Very promising future. CC and BOB. PGD. (4). 1. Hallett's, Cagebrook Jimmy Choo at Loretto. Shaded red. Nicely made front with good shoulder placement. Good reach of neck. Well developed and angulated quarters. Moved freely and covered the ground well. 2. Charnley's, Northnook Rafferty. B/t with correct front and shoulder placement. Lovely to go over and well balanced on the move. Didn't quite cover the ground on the move as winner, but promising. 3. Mee's, Barlians Midnight Price. LD. (5). 1. Lockett-Walters and Walter's, Metadale Dick Turpin. Clear red with good head, would like a little more neck. Shoulder placement acceptable. Well made quarters. Would prefer a little more follow through on the move. Well presented. 2 Brooks' Layways Piper for Lyndarlea. Cream dog, good head and reach of neck. Wide front, but underline cut up beneath and a little long in loin. Would prefer a little more follow through on the move. 3 Patterson's Wilmaranna James Bond. OD (4) Disappointing class. 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Fizical Attracts. Chocolate dog with a nice head and neck. A little short in upperarm. Feet a little soft. Moved out well. 2 Kennedy's Denkena Solar Flare. Cream dog with a nice head and a good reach of neck. A little short in upperarm, used his quarters well on the move. 3 Jamieson's Silver Ado by Djeata. MPB (2) 1 Kennedy's Denkena Solar Eclipse. B/T and a compact and well bodied puppy with substance. Good head and reach of neck, well angulated quarters. Covered the ground well on the move, promising and should mature up well. 2 Brooks' Lyndarlea Carry On Dory. Cream with a nice head and front. Shoulders not as good as the winner. Would prefer a little more angulation, but this may improve with exercise and time. She moved out well. PB (5,1) 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Sunset. Nice reach of neck, good front and underline. Stood square, would prefer more angulation. 2 Roberts' Denver Sugar Babe. Well constructed cream with a good front and plenty of coat. Well angulated, not standing as square as the winner. 3 Kennedy's Denkena's Ugly Betty. JB (3,1) 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Dark Moment. Would prefer a little more neck. Nice front, plenty of substance. She stood and moved well. 2 Laird's Flavion Boneye at Morn. Nice b/t bitch, more coat and more elegant then the winner, but not behaving well, so was difficult to assess. Persevere more with training classes. PGB (4) 1 Graham's Hillstar Lexzina of Jadag. B/t bitch with correct head and reach of neck. Lovely front with good width. Well developed quarters used correctly on the move. 2 Charnley's Northnook Lucyanna. B/T with nice head and good shoulder placement. Strong quarters, would prefer a little more neck and furnishing. 3 Patterson's Wilmaranna Blue Diamond. LB (4,2) 1 Blackshaw's Ravenways Drama Queen. Lovely rich red with a good front and well angulated shoulders. Excellent ribbing, strong quarters which she used well on the move. Just moving a little unbalanced until she slowed down. Res CC. 2 Mee's Barlaines Country Classic. B/T and a nice type bitch with a good head and reach of neck. Good feet. Not quite the ribbing of the winner, nice quarters which she used well on the move. OB (4) 1 Jamieson's Djeata Spring Blossom. Another rich red bitch. Lovely type with a good topline. Excellent front and shoulder placement. Good underline and well angulated quarters which she used well. 2 Roberts' Ch Denver Suzi Wong. B/T and a nicely made bitch with good front and shoulder placement. Nice reach of neck, well developed quarters and moved out with plenty of drive. 3 Lockett and Lockett-Walter's Ralines Gold Charm.
