I thoroughly enjoyed my day at this well run show, greatly aided by my v efficient steward Sandra Goodman who kept everything running so smoothly. This was my first time to award tickets in this variety & I was delighted with such a gd quality entry. There was a variance in type but in my winners I found the strength, depth & substance that I was looking for.  MPD (3). 1 Thorn Andrews’ Drakesleaf Chez Doff. Promising p with all the essentials, gd forechest, strong topline & well angulated, moved freely; 2 Whitehouse’s Rioban Beyond Justice. Pleasing 6 mnth old baby with lots to like. Just not as confident as 1. PD (3). 1 Walker’s Roselle Lord Of The Dance. Well balanced 11 mnth old, with attractive head & expression, strong firm body with gd front & rear angulation. I liked his depth & he moved with drive; 2 Preece’s Charnealis Mr Right T Llewsad. 10 mnth old of larger & taller type than 1. Nice head, gd neck & shoulders, showed well; 3 Brechin & Herberts Stargang Paco Rabanne. JD (3). 1 Smith’s Dunns Pitts Zakajak. Well balanced d of gd type, well constructed with gd tight elbows. Gd depth & shape, firm quarters, moved out well; 2 Howell’s Fallowmill Nutz About Toffy. Close up to 1 but of slightly taller type, balanced brindle with pleasing head, dark eye, reachy neck & firm topline. Moved & showed well; 3 Hopgood’s Dunns Pitts Artful Dodger. PGD (3). 1 Hassall’s Charnealis Costa Lota Money. V balanced d of gd construction, prominent forechest with plenty of depth. Strong in topline, gd driving action won him the class; 2 Kugow & Holt’s Waldmeister Jackson. Well constructed by boy with gd wire jacket, gd head & reach of neck. Firm topline & strong rear, smart mover; 3 Hayward’s Foxearth Fine Fettle. LD (12). 1 Wilberg’s Kanix Keith. A quality d with great balance & so well constructed. I liked his shape & lovely sweep of keel, well angulated front & rear, really drove out on the move holding a level topline; 2 Morton’s Molloney Tera Fried. Quality brindle of slightly taller type, sound all through with prominent forechest. Gd ribbing & strong quarters, lovely in outline & gd harsh coat, sound mover; 3 Price’s Samlane Manilow. OD (6). 1 Thorn-Andrew’s Ch Jap Ch Drakesleaf JP Just Dis Once. A d full of quality & substance, with well sprung rib & lovely oval shape, excelled in top & underline. Lovely strong quarters, stylish mover, with great drive & ring presence; 2 Allan & Dick’s Ir Ch Auchans Rodger The Dojjer. Another quality d of sound construction & in hard condition. Presented a gd outline with gentle underline. Sound true mover, unlucky to meet in such top form; 3 Marka-Nova’s Shemby Buzz Word. MPB (7). 1 Presnail’s Taree Ithaca. Quality red of v nice type, with gd head & reachy neck. Firm body with level topline & well let down hocks. Moved steadily for one so young; 2 Rathbone’s Brialind Cherry Pie. Brindle of slightly taller type, well constructed with firm front & prominent forechest, moved well holding near topline; 3 Vosper’s Oggyland Cornish Pride. PB (8). 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Le Classique BP. Flashy brindle catching my eye on entering the ring. Loved her overall balance, so well balanced with great forechest, gd shoulders & ribbing. Showed well & moved truly, delighted to see her go BPIS; 2 Wilberg’s Stargang Coca At Kanix. Similar to litter sister but of taller type, same gd construction with gd front & rear angulation, gd sound driving action. Coat of correct texture; 3 Price’s Samlane Pink Gin. JB (13). 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Coffee Renoir. Another eye-catcher from this kennel. I loved her type, long, low & level with flowing lines. Excelled in topline, super strong quarters, enabling her to power around the ring; 2 Price’s Samlane Norma Jean. Quality well constructed girl of different type. Liked her overall balance, gd firm body with strong quarters, gd sound true mover; 3 Hannay’s Bronia Black Magic. PGB (13). 1 Miller’s Scot Mariner Sea Bebbie. Well made b of taller type. Elegant outline with gd topline & reach of neck, sound mover covering plenty of ground; 2 Howell’s Fallowmill Clarissa. V sound compact brindle with gd head & adequate reach of neck. Firm body with level topline, moved soundly with gd length of stride; 3 Marston Teal’s Lords Cairnie Hannah’s Love. LB (13). 1 Wilberg’s Kanix Kalinka. Top quality exhibit & v mature for her age. Excellent head with gd reach of neck & correct shoulders, prominent sternum, with keel carried well back, moved with plenty of drive holding a strong topline, correct coat texture; 2 Thorn-Andrew’s Drakesleat Tea Leaf. Another quality girl with appealing head & expression. Had all the essentials, gd length, prominent forechest. Well angulated front & rear, just preferred outline of 1; 3 Sexton & Hayward’s Foxearth Fixed Asset. OB (6). Gd class of quality b’s. The one that stood out for me today was, 1 Blackburn’s Ch Kanix Hilda At Stargang CC. BOB, what a cracker & a delight to go over. I loved her oval shape, beautiful outline & strong hammy quarters. Gd width all through, flowed around the ring in style, delighted to award her BOB & thrilled to see her go RBIS: 2 Horswell’s Drakeleat Why Knot, RCC. Another impressive exhibit of larger but gd type, sweetest of heads with dark eye, particularly liked her lovely outline & excellent ribbing. Impressive mover with positive driving action; 3 Hutchings CH Molloney Zena Ghost.
