MINIATURE WIREHAIRED
Like most breeds entries for this Irish venue are never thick on the ground but
I was pleased with the quality, especially my BOB winner who became a champion
on the day. A bonnie dog with great attitude, shown and moved on a loose lead,
the soundest of movers he carried his head and tail correctly. Add to this type,
quality and the harshest of coats, he was able to show off the champion he is.
BCC, a smart little lady of excellent type and balance, moving well, came out of
Limit as did RBCC, particularly good jacket pressed hard. I was particularly
impressed that most had a good clearance between brisket and the ground, which
must be correct for a working dog.
PD (3) 1 Kirkwood’s Waldmeister Gordo at Helydon, correct length of
leg, excellent topline, well balanced, smart puppy of promise. RCC; 2
Blackburn’s Stargang Tigers Eye, close up, sound, moving out well. Can finish
well; 3 Miller’s Trelanis Just For Fun.
JD (2) 1 W Gordo at H; 2 Allan and Dick’s Stargang Lewis Gneiss to
Auchans, excellent coat, has the type and quality. Just needs to settle down and
will win well. Some promising youngsters out today.
LD (1) 1 Russell’s Russteck Fillibeg, not presented to best
advantage. Good head and eye. Feet could be tighter. Moving out well.
OD (2) 1 Wilberg’s Kanix Oscar, moving and showing with style,
smart sound dog of grand type and quality, excellent jacket. Ch today. CC and
BOB; 2 Patton’s Ir Ch Wentwood Over To You Lesandnic, excellent head and eye.
Rather lanky in body.
PB (2) 1 Miller’s Trelanis Joie De Vivre, lovely head, eye and coat,
moving out well. Tail a little high set; 2 Russell’s Russteck Perchance To
Dream, well balanced, has the type and quality, good head and eye, has time to
firm in front.
JB (3) 1 Allan, Dick and Morrison’s Auchans Oopsie Daisie,
small build, lovely type, quality and excellent coat, moving well. Tail set
rather high; 2 Williamson’s Meetinghouse Locksley Lass, pleasing in type, has
time to firm in movement and front; 3 Todd, McCormack and Brown’s Appennine
Scarlet O’Hara.
PGB (2) Splitting hairs over these two. 1 Russell’s Russteck
Thistledown, well balanced, good topline and moving well. CC; 2 Morrison’s
Auchans Mighty Mouse, super jacket, dark eye. Did not hold her topline quite so
well on the move and not using her tail on the move. RCC.
LB (2) 1 Kelly’s Starhill Bitter Sweet for Kmai, smart, all quality,
good eye and eye; 2 Williamson’s Meetinghouse Isle Of Skye, excellent coat,
moving out well. Tail carriage too high.
OB (2) 1 S Bitter Sweet for K, has the quality, shown too fat.
