MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
PD (4) 1 Presnail’s Taree Nelson Nice puppy with a good head and
expression. Very good front, keel and limbs with tight feet. Correctly
proportioned body shape with well angulated strong hindquarters and correct tail
and carriage. Harsh coat and he moved soundly with drive and reach. Best Dog. 2
Fortnam and Dunn’s Cairos Zippa De Do Love Ok in head with good ear set. Neck,
front and keel ok with a good overall body shape. Well angulated hindquarters.
Moved soundly enough. Just needs a little more substance and in between coats at
the moment. 3 Neate’s Beaucat Earth Wind N Wire
JD (1) 1 Holt and Fairburn’s Cushida’s Dennis The Menace Ok in head
with a good expression. Looked to be well made but unfortunately I could not go
over him as he was extremely worried about the whole thing. Moved well once he
settled.
PGD (2) 1 Dunn’s Bratenklein Cent Mille Chanson Good enough in head and
expression, ok in neck and shoulders but keel needs to develop. Good overall
body shape, could do with more angulation behind, good tail set and carriage and
in good coat. Moved well enough. Res Best Dog. 2 Hooper’s Starhill King’s
Rhapsody Longer in head than 1 with good neck. Front assembly could be better
and lacks keel. Rising in topline a little both stacked and moving, good
hindquarters. In good coat and moved well.
OD (1) 1 Batchelor’s Cairo The Ashes of Algiestone Ok in head, good
length of neck, well angulated front but lacks keel. Another one who raised his
topline. Ok behind with a good tail set and carriage. In good coat but not
moving well today.
PB (5) 1 Boyn’s Brindeckel Ballykissangel Difficult class with lots to
like about the first three. This bitch had an adequate head with correct ear
set, long neck and very good shoulders and upper arm with strong limbs and great
feet. Lovely body shape all through with well angulated hindquarters and correct
tail set and carriage. In good coat of correct texture. Won this class on her
movement which was sound all ways with reach and drive. Res Best Bitch and BP. 2
Presnail’s Taree Nevis Better in head than 1 and well made all through. Another
who moved soundly, just lacking the stride length of 1. Proud of her tail on the
move but the set was ok and it was more likely to be youthful exuberance. Lovely
harsh coat. 3 Lancaster and Miller’s Pellismer Sno Problem
JB (3) 1 Hooper’s Starhill Lady of Shallott Good head and expression
with correct ear set. Lovely neck and shoulders and adequate keel. Strong limbs.
Good overall body shape with well angulated hindquarters and correct tail set
and carriage. Moved well and in good coat. 2 Holt and Fairburn’s Cushida’s
Minnie The Minx Head ok, good neck and shoulders, just needs to develop in
front. Correct overall body shape, good hindquarters and correct tail set and
carriage. In excellent coat and she moved well once she settled.
PGB (2) 1 Beckett’s Kapodach Lovin It Good in head with a sweet
expression, ok in neck and front assembly. Good overall body shape but would
prefer better hindquarters. Correct tail set and carriage. Moved well coming and
in profile but going away was a little erratic. Lost her topline on the move
too.
OB (1) 1 Lancaster and Miller’s Drakesleat Stone Me with Pellismer This
bitch was of great type with a lovely head and expression, good ears, neck,
shoulders and keel with strong well boned limbs. Correctly proportioned body
shape and strong well angulated and well muscled hindquarters. Coat ok. Moved so
soundly with good reach and drive, just wish she had a little more animation.
Looked like she could do a day’s work. Best Bitch and BOB.
