The very long grass seemed to affect the movement of many exhibits quite considerably.

MPD(5) 1 Kugow &Holt’s Waldmeister Samuel. Very promising, lovely balance and proportions, love his head, expressio, ears and coat, topline ok, sound free mover. 2 Lewis’ Clipperdown Mean Machine at Trixhund. Different balance to first, excels in topline with good coat, although this makes him look plain, holds himself well on the move. 3 Otter’s Portalutra De Fi Ant.

PD(2) 1 Corner’s Holrik Mister Mischief. Houndy type, compact dog with good legs, topline, head and expression, tail carriage a little high. 2 Russell’s Russteck Dandelion. Has length throughout with balanced head, good coat, grass was a little long for him to deal with.

JD(1) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Otton The Scent. Lovely proportions standing with strong, long, powerful neck, good coat and topline, again the overlong grass affected him moving.

PGD(1) 1 Williams’ Stockcroft Red Rambler. Attractive head, good topline, depth of chest and coat, not coping with the long grass.

LD(6, 2) 1 Kirkwood’s Waldmeister Gordo At Helydon. Lovely balance and proportions, good neck, topline, correct depth, movement and carriage, if a little smaller would give a run for top honours. 2 Russell’s Russteck Fillibeg JW. Lovely head with good neck, topline and excellent coat, moves well in profile, a little lower to ground. 3 Black’s Bassodon Bilbie.

OD(2, 1) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Ch Drakesleat Win Alot. No wonder he wins a lot, he stands away clearly from the rest, from his excellent balance, proportions, neck, topline and correct ground clearance, he moves soundly and with purpose from every angle with typical carriage, one of the best Min Wires I have seen for quite a few years.

MPB(2, 1) 1 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Lady Gaga. From the minute she walked into the ring she made me smile, she is so cute, pretty and naughty, excellent neck, topline and coat coupled with the most outgoing temperament.

PB(1) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Sally Forf. Lovely head and expression, very precise and powerful front end with good tail set, has such good reach in front.

JB(4) 1 Mobley’s Samlane What Else Of Jakanem. Nice type bitch with good balance and proportions, feminine and moderate throughout, good topline, very together standing and moving. 2 Otter’s Portalutra Sasha Imi. Very good presentation and she has good proportions, good coat, excellent topline, just thought first was a little stronger behind. 3 Russell’s Russteck Perchance To Dream.

PGB(3, 2) 1 Fieke’s Lustrum Bunch Of Thyme. Pretty bitch with good head and excellent set ears of correct shape and size, topline good when moving in profile, coat ok, a shade wide in front but it could be the grass.

LB(5, 1) 1 Price’s Samlane Touch Of Gin. A real picture standing and won on her outline and balance, depth, ribbing and excellent coat, moved well despite the grass. 2 Roberts’ Darkesleat Win’er Take All To Swansford. This bitch is just my cup of tea, she is beautiful for type with lovely head, neck and front, just not coping with the grass today. 3 Kugow &Holt’s Waldmeister Steffi JW.

OB(4, 1) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Winsum Losesum. Had the most beautiful outline and balance and moved soundly from all angles, would have preferred a tighter eye, sadly between coats, otherwise she would have won the CC. 2 Fulton’s Bothlyn Black Rose. Beautiful head and eye, excellent coat and presentation, a little longer and lower to ground than first, moved well. 3 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Diamond Star.
