MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED

I was pleased with this quality entry. The ground was very uneven which upset some movement. A few young hounds had dirty teeth. Coats, on the whole, were good.

MPD (7) Lovely class of babies. 1 Kugow & Holt’s Waldmeister Samuel, well proportioned head with almond eye, correct mouth, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, strong, muscled body & rear, moved out well & true, excellent coat; 2 Lewis’ Clipperdown Mean Machine at Trixhund, most impressive coat, balanced head, good shoulder placement & ribs, good underline, flying his tail, which can be forgiven in a baby, moved well; 3 Otter’s Portalutra De Fi Ant. PD (6,3) Little separated the first two. 1 Dance’s Deepdax Overdraft Too Far Emem, what an extrovert chap he is, once settled he behaved to show off his assets, good head & eye, neck, shoulders & sternum, well muscled body & rear which showed in his movement, lovely feet. BP; 2 Howells’ Fallowmill Back And Fetch, above comets apply, so well presented & handled; 3 Summer’s Roamanbay Fred Leicester. JD (2) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Otton The Scent, a little more mature than his brother, well proportioned head, correct mouth, muscular neck into well placed shoulders, good ribbing & underline, well angulated rear used to full advantage on the move; 2 Whitehouse’s Drakesleat Ottoff The Press, good head, eye & correct mouth, strong pro-sternum, well placed shoulders, well muscled body & rear, sympathetically handled to full advantage. PGD (3,1) 1 Presnail’s Taree Nelson, well presented compact hound, all in proportion, good head with strong jaw, good top & underline, harsh coat, moved out so well; 2 Young’s Tarkus Harvest Gold, not giving off his best today, well presented coat & moved well on a strong rear. LD (3,1) 1 Blackburn-Bennett’s Wyndsmoor Mister Chips at Stargang, smart hound, good head with correct mouth, good forchest, strong body into well angulated rear which was used to full advantage, good coat & presentation. RCC; 2 Shaw’s Cilnant Happy Harry of Mustdach, more compact, well proportioned throughout with good strong bone, good top & underline kept on the move. handled well. OD (4,3) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Ch Drakesleat Win Alot, most impressive hound, strong head, almond eye, gentle expression, muscular neck into well placed shoulders, good ribbing & short loin, well angulated rear used to drive round the ring, a worthy ch. CC & BOB.

MPB (4,1) Three lovely babies. 1 Jones’ Bimini Starlight Express, well balanced baby, more mature than 2 & 3, proportioned head, good mouth, shoulders & ribbing, kept a good top & underline on the move, beautifully presented; 2 Miller’s Palsuz Dream Of Casandra, beautiful expression, dark eye in a nice head, strong body & ribbing. Just off heat & was out to enjoy herself but did move well once settled; 3 Gamble’s Lordscairnie Sea Of Love. PB (7,1) A promising class, some found the ground too tempting. 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Sally Forf, feminine head with beautiful expression, good neck & shoulders, well sprung ribs, good top & underline, well angulated rear, really enjoying her show. BPB; 2 Presnail’s Taree Odessa, compact hound, good head, eye & shoulder angulation, well sprung ribs, short loin, good rear, took a while to settle but then showed well, well handled; 3 Cook’s Tythe Saffron at Patlyns. JB (10,1) A difficult class to judge, first two had little to separate them. 1 Poxon’s Kapodach Izzi Miyaki, beautiful head & expression, strong neck into good shoulders, well sprung ribs, good rear angulation, good coat, moved with drive; 2 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Xclusive Love, once relaxed she showed well, same comments apply as 1, well presented & handled; 3 Otter’s Portalutra Sasha Imi. PGB (8,1) 1 Blackburn’s Shardagang Mayhem, well proportioned, smart girl, balanced head, gentle eye, good front & shoulders, kept top & underline on the move, drove round the ring so well; 2 Lancaster & Miller’s Pellismer Sno Big Deal, slightly smaller in type, good head with mischievous eye, well placed shoulders, good ribbing, well let down hock, lovely presentation; 3 Oram’s Janjac Moschino at Rosswell. LB (7,1) A strong class of quality hounds. 1 Kugow & Holt’s Waldmeister Steffi, won this class on her movement, good head & neck into a clean front, well placed shoulders & correct ribbing to loin ratio, strong body & well muscled rear used to full advantage, harsh coated & presented in hard condition as are all from this kennel; 2 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Winsum Losesum, such a feminine head & expression, shoulders well placed, good forechest, top & underline, again a strong body & good rear angulation; 3 Barney’s Verrami Ava Nuvver Romaunt. OB (8,2) Another strong class. So little separating 1 & 2 hence CC & RCC. 1 Horswell’s Drakesleat Knot On Yer Nelly, balanced hound with a feminine head & expression, shoulder placement correct, ribbing long & well sprung, short strong loin, well angulated rear, behaving well & covered this ground, well handled. CC; 2 Dance’s Emem Sunny Spells, good head, gentle expression, elegant neck into correct shoulders, strong body, good underline & well angulated rear, a beautiful hound so well presented. RCC; 3 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Diamond Star.
