A big thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at this show & to the exhibitors for turning up on such a bitterly cold day & to my stewards Glenda Jones & Peter Higgins for keeping things flowing.

MPD (3) 1 Heather’s Ravensbeech Rossini with Whiteorchard, I liked this red puppy very much. He had a lot going for him with a good doggy head, good teeth, nice almond eye, good topline & a nice underline to compliment it. Good rear angulation. Was a picture standing & moved well. Good harsh coat; 2 Pain’s Ravensbeech Rigoletto, another from the same litter as 1. Still has a bit of growing to do. Has a lovely head & eye, good teeth, reach of neck, nice front construction. Topline at the moment lets him down; 3 Fry’s Bedeslea Charlibird Parker. PD (2) 1 Fry’s Bedeslea Dizzy Gillespie, a very nice 6 months old brindle with a harsh coat & lovely expression & temperament. Nice prosternum, good shoulder placement, topline kept standing & on the move, great rear angulation. Just needs to keep his tail down; 2 Lancaster’s Pellismer Ott Deal, 11 months old with nice head & eye, good teeth, good harsh coat, good angulation, topline OK. JD (2,1a) 1 Thorne-Andrews’ Drakesleat Hostile Takeova, 11½ months old brindle of nice proportions but slightly out of coat. Has nice head & almond eye, good reach of neck going into good shoulder placement. Topline kept standing & on the move. Well angulated to the rear. RCC. PGD (2) 1 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Moment Of Love, a very nicely constructed brindle with nice head & almond eye, god shoulder placement, good topline which he kept standing & on the move, good rear angulation; 2 Millar’s Palsuz Basil, has a good head & almond eye, good harsh coat. Would have preferred a better topline & underline. Rear angulation could have been better. LD (1) 1 Hayward’s Taree Scoville at Wirefusion, 3½ years old brindle with super head & eye, good teeth, nice reach of neck, good harsh coat. Maybe he was feeling the cold but on a warmer day his topline might well improve. OD (3) 1 Rose’s Ch Ridanflight Ricardo, this boy took my eye the moment he stepped into the ring with a super head, reachy neck, lovely almond eye, nice prosternum, great shoulder placement, well ribbed back, super topline which was kept standing & on the move. Well angulated rear movement. CC; 2 Hayward’s Foxearth Fiddler On The Roof, lovely red of quality with great head & eye, super reach of neck, nicely laid back shoulders, well ribbed back & nicely angulated to the rear & a topline which he kept standing & on the move. I think these two could easily change places; 3 Thorne-Andrews’ Ir Ch Drakesleat Neil’s On Wheels.

MPB (3,1) 1 Thorne-Andrews’ Drakesleat Win Da Mere, 6 months old brindle of excellent quality, one who moved with verve. Lovely head & eye, good reach of neck, nice front, topline & underline kept at all times. Great angulation to the rear. One to watch for in the future. RCC & BP; 2 Garrity’s Macushia Melody Maker, 6 months old brindle with nice head & eye, good reach of neck, good topline & rear angulation was OK. Just let down by her underline. PB (4,2) 1 Howell’s Fallowmill Carolina, 10 months old brindle of excellent quality. Good harsh coat, good head & eye, lovely reach of neck going into well laid shoulders. Nicely ribbed back, good rear angulation & a topline that she kept at all times; 2 Price’s Samlane Belleza, another 10 months old brindle who was not just as confident as 1. She has a good head & eye, good reach of neck, angulation to the rear OK. Topline & underline could be better. JB (3) 1 Russell’s Rusteck Wired To The Moon, I liked her quite a bit, for me she stood out in this class. Smashing harsh coat, lovely head & eye, good reach of neck going into well laid shoulders, topline that she kept standing & on the move. Nicely angulated to the rear. This is one to watch for in the future. Nice front; 2 Thorne-Andrews’ Drakesleat Hatti-tude, 11½ months old brindle, slightly heavier than 1. Nice head & eye, good reachy neck, nicely laid back shoulders, well ribbed back, good rear angulation & a topline that was kept at all times. Just preferred 1 on the day; 3 Mobley’s Jakanem What You Will. PGB (8,2) 1 Rose’s Ridanflight Reflection, a very nice brindle bitch with super head, reachy neck, good prosternum, nicely ribbed back, topline kept standing & on the move. A very nice little mover, drove out well; 2 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Rhythm Of Love, another brindle of similar qualities to 1. Nice head & eye, good shoulder placement, nice front, reachy neck, topline & underline kept at all times; 3 Goulding’s Silsa Patsy Clime. LB (7,1) 1 Russell’s Rusteck I Dreamed A Dream, a lovely dark brindle of quality, very nice shape. For me she stood out in this class. Lovely feminine head, almond eye, great reach of neck going into well laid shoulders, good harsh coat, great front & well angulated to the rear. Topline kept at all times. CC & BOB; 2 Pain’s Trixhund Tattiannie Ravensbeech, a r/br of very nice type, good head & eye, good front construction, well ribbed back, good topline & underline kept at all times. Everything there that’s supposed to be there; 3 Thorne-Andrews’ Drakesleat Honour Roll.OB (3,1) 1 Hayward’s Foxearth Fatma Salkan, a very nice r/br who moved out very well & showed herself off to her best. Has a great head & eye, lovely long neck, well ribbed back, good topline & underline which was kept at all times. Nicely angulated to the rear; 2 Thorne-Andrews’ Drakesleat Fingers Xrossed, a slightly finer type than 1. Great head & eye, good reach of neck, good front & rear angulation, topline OK. V (3) 1 Hayward’s Ch Foxearth Foto Copy, 10 years old red bitch, very nice type, good head, nice oval eye, good teeth. Still has a good reach of neck, good front & rear angulation, topline kept at all times. Still got a good harsh coat; 2 Oram’s Jan Jac Moschino at Rosswell, another 10 years old brindle bitch of slightly heavier type. She had a topline. Good topline & angulation to the rear, moved out very well; 3 Millar’s Palsuz Dream Time.
