Dog CC was Kirkwood-Emery’s Ch Helydon Laird Loki JW, this 6 year old dog is of admirable breed type, was in top form and well-presented, correct head properties, well-developed keel, topline and underline in harmony, ideal ribbing, good hind angulation allowing for driving hind action and to add to the picture has a good crisp jacket. Res Dog CC was Dance’s Emem Solar Power JW, attractive dog rising 2 years and unlucky to meet the winner today. This is another excellent typy Dachshund of champion quality with much to admire, well-angled fore and aft, excellent coat textures, correct ground clearance and moved truly. Bitch CC & BOB was Thorn Andrews’ Ch Drakesleat Too Gud to be True, elegant 6 year old bitch who is particularly well-constructed and of lovely breed type, she has a sweet head, lovely neckline, prominent keel, sound legs and feet, angulations are spot on, has good ground clearance, a correctly textured jacket and moved well covering much ground. Res Bitch CC was Smith’s Alncroft Ida Zire, gorgeous 2 year old bitch of beautiful breed type and of champion quality, sweet yet houndy head, best of legs and feet, prominent keel, ribbing extends well back and topline/underline in balance, adequate ground clearance, harsh jacket and knows how to move. Best Puppy was Dance’s Emem Hazel Sunshine, most promising 6 month bitch at her first show and full of typical breed personality, she is beautifully put-together and of lovely breed type, sweetly feminine yet a true hound, excellent coat and true movement. This is a quality Dachshund. 
MPD (1,0) 1 Beach & Partridge’s Cardaxians BamBam Baby, 6.5 month old baby who gave a good account of himself, he has a balanced outline, is soundly constructed, has correct ground clearance, a good harsh jacket and showed well. 
PD (2,0) 1 Howells’ Fallowmill Time Traveler, 9 months baby of sound construction who is maturing nicely, neckline and body length give a well-balanced picture, good ground clearance, correct topline and underline and moved truly. 2 Moss & Rowberry’s Griffingate I Have A Dream, 12 months boy who was unlucky to meet the one above, a slower developer, he just needs time to fill out and mature. 
PGD (1,0) 1 Gilkes & Storton’s Dereheath Shaken Not Stired At Birichino, 20 months dog of good overall breed type, well ribbed, correct topline and adequate ground clearance, harsh jacket and moved well.

PB (2,1) 1 Howells Fallowmill Story Time, respectable 9 month baby who is developing at the correct rate, she has an attractive head, well-balanced body properties, good ribbing and topline and is soundly constructed. Time is on her side. 
JB (1,0) 1 McKenna’s Bargemon Platinum Jubilee at Tredreas, pretty 18 month old junior bitch who is soundly constructed, has a prominent keel and a good harsh jacket and showed well. 
PGB (6,0) This was a good class. 1 Jones’ Bimini To The Moon And Back, 21 months and Kirkwood’s Helydon Quickstep Queeni, 2 years 3 months. It was difficult to separate these two attractive bitches as both have their qualities and a much to like. They have well-balanced outlines and are of true breed type, are soundly made with good angulation fore and aft, correct toplines and correct coats. The first was a little more active in movement. 3 Gilkes’ Just The Tonic At Birichino. 
LB (2,0) 1 A I Zire. 2 Marston Teal’s Lordscairnie Endless Love, attractive 21 month bitch of a similar style to the one above and was unlucky to meet her today. She has lovely breed type, is sweetly feminine with an elegant neck and well-developed keel, nicely balanced topline and underline and moved truly. 
OB (4,0) 1 Ch D T G to be True. 2 Jones’ Bimini Chasing Moonbeams, lovely 4.5 year old bitch of style and quality, sweet head and expression, good keel, best of legs and feet, ribs extend well back, well-angled fore and hindquarters, correct topline and moved with drive. Just preferred the neckline of the one above. 3 Dance’s Emem Letty Bee Sunshine JW.
