Firstly I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this prestigious show. I was delighted to receive such a fabulous entry. I was pleasantly surprised afterwards to find out that many of my top winners were related to both of my CC winners at Crufts in 2022. Ricardo has certainly made his stamp on the breed, both in his achievements in the ring and as a sire. I found my top winners were also related to my res bitch CC winner at Crufts who came from the veteran class; the famous Queenlord Skinny Love, from Italy, who has also certainly passed on her beauty to her progeny. I’d also like to thank the exhibitors for accepting my decisions in a sporting manner. I was looking for a dog that looked like a hound, moving with excellent striding and driving movement with attitude, whilst retaining the true breed type.
Special Beginner Dog (3)
1st: SIEMINSKI Dallandor Burdock – handsome dog puppy, a little on the big side. Lovely masculine head and super eye. Excellent hindquarters and well put together front. Moved the best in this class to win.
2nd: HAWKINS Martinks Storm in a Teacup for Lonaza – excellent front, nice head, moved well.
3rd: CORNER Carcorn Raphael's Racer
Minor Puppy Dog (4)
Very mixed class of differing types 1st: PRICE Collidach Thomas Tank – Houndy boy with well shaped head. Well filled front and
good shoulders, dropping down well into his front. Excellent spring and length of rib. Kept a good topline on the move and moved out with purpose and drive. Very well presented.
Promising puppy.
2nd: THORN ANDREWS Griffingate St George for Drakesleat – completely different type to 1. Correct coated, good head, excellent bone, good make and shape. At the moment very raw and gangly but moved out well.
3rd: CROSSMAN & KENNEDY Moonshe Make Bee Leeve
Res: SIEMINSKI Dallandor Burdock
Puppy Dog (4,1)
1st: MILLS- JONES Bimini Moonrise – very promising puppy dog though unfortunately his coat was not on form today. Lovely head and expression, well put together front, excellent powerful hindquarters which he used to move out well keeping a good outline. Should have a promising future.
2nd: PRICE Collidach Thomas Tank 3rd: FOLEY Bimini Alfie Moon at Clavennae
Junior Dog (3)
1st: JONES Bimini Song Sung Blue – really eye catching dark wild boar dog. Delighted to hear that his dam is litter sister to the bitch I gave the CC to at Crufts in 2022 and this CC was his 4th but first out of puppy which made him up today. Lovely head, eye & expression. Lengthy neck, well fitted shoulders and correct drop down, true front and back. Good spring of rib, excellent hind quarters, moved out as though he owned the ring. Very sound. Beautiful coat, so well presented and handled. Couldn’t be denied CC & BOB.
2nd: MULLEN Rozelle Fools Gold – lovely red dog from this up and coming kennel. Just prefer the head of 1, just a little bit more masculine, but a very nice dog indeed. Well put together front, good spring of rib, hammy quarters which he used on the move and kept a good outline. Unlucky to meet 1.
3rd: KAY Kaytian The Suncaller
Novice Dog (1)
1st: SIEMINSKI Dallandor Burdock
Post Graduate Dog (1)
1st: PHILLIPS Birichino Barley of Robinswood – stood alone, ok head, good ground clearance, moved ok, well muscled.
Limit Dog (7,1)
1st: ROSE Ridnaflight Remo – really strong stallion looking red boy, super head and eye, great length of neck, super bone, well angulated front construction with correct feet, adequate ribbing, super hindquarters. Really moved well, with good reach & drive. Pushed hard in the challenge, I’m sure his day will come. RCC.
2nd: KENT Barratini Du Beke at Lokmadi – really tight coated red boy, very masculine, super pigmentation, good head and expression, fantastic bone, good padded feet, excellent ribbing and well angulated quarters with good muscling. Presented well.
3rd: MOSS & SILVESTER Griffingate I Have A Dream Res: KIRKWOOD Beetlejuice Vitoraz at Helydon (Imp Cze)
VHC: PHILLIPS Gulliagh Loganberry of Robinswood
Open Dog (5,2)
1st: DANCE Ch Emem Solar Power – really handsome wild boar dog with attractive expression. Neat, well angulated front, good ribbing, well muscled and angulated quarters which he used on the move. Lovely side profile. Just preferred the hind movement of CC &
RCC winners.
2nd : BLACK Ch Bothlyn Back in Black Bassodon – smart dark wild boar boy. Looked a picture standing, very well constructed, unfortunately today was getting his tail up which spoiled his
outline but still moved out well.
3rd: GILKES & STORTON Dereheath Shaken Not Stired At Birichino
Veteran Dog (4,1)
1st: KIRKWOOD-EMERY Ch Helydon Laird Loki JW – really eye catching veteran boy who doesn’t look his age. Good expression, correct forehand, excellent ribbing and best of hindquarters. Really moved out well keeping his outline. BV.

1st: HAYWARD Foxearth Fell from the Stars – really pretty headed bitch with correct dark, almond shaped eye. Well constructed forehand, dropping down into good straight front.
Good spring of rib, well angulated hindquarters, just needs to steady on the move.

3rd: JASKOLSKA Dachshington Cassiopeia

Some really lovely top draw puppies in this class who will probably change places many times.

Junior Bitch (11)
A strong junior class. Found out after that 1 & 2 are litter sisters and very similar in type with similar remarks applying to both. Both with lovely head and expression. Both have super fore chests with tightly fitting shoulders. Excellent spring of rib, well angulated hindquarters, with correct toplines and sound movement. 1st just had a little bit more attitude and ring presence today but two exceptionally quality bitches who I’m sure will change places. 1st
RCC, and pleased to find out they are by my ResDCC winner.
1st: KILROY Rozelle Rosalie At Janacop
2nd: MULLEN Rozelle Old Flame

Post Graduate Bitch (13,3)
1st: ROSE Ridanflight Renata – pretty little red bitch, littler sister to my RDCC winner. Correct head & eye, lengthy neck into well laid back shoulders. Excellent forechest, good ribbing, very good topline moving and standing. Well muscled hindquarters. Just lacked a little bit of confidence in the challenge but a quality bitch.
2nd: KIRKWOOD Helydon Vexy Vixen – smart wild boar bitch, feminine head and expression, nothing overdone, well constructed and well presented and handled. Moved with drive.
3rd: CROSSMAN & KENNEDY Moonshe May Bee
Res: MARSTON-TEAL Lordscairnie Love to Dazzle
VHC: THOMSON & BRUTY Dajean Kristar
Limit Bitch (12)
1st: MULLEN Rozelle Are You Ready – outstanding red bitch, demands attention as soon as she enters the ring. Pretty head, super head carriage, excellent forechest and correct forehand. Good ribbing with heart room, short in loin, well muscled and angulated quarters which she powerfully uses around the ring. Well deserved the CC, and I believe this made her up into a champion. Close for Best for Breed but the dog just had the better coat
condition today.
2nd: DANCE Emem Hazel Sunshine JW – very houndy little bitch with nothing exaggerated. Correct coat, well angulated forehand, good feet. Really comes alive on the move. Unfortunate to meet 1 on such good form today.
3rd: JONES Bimini To The Moon And Back
Res: THORN ANDREWS Drakesleat Hear No Evil
VHC: KIRKWOOD-EMERY Helydon Tartan Talula JW
Open Bitch (9,1)
1st: MULLEN Rozelle Kamiras Year – another quality bitch from this kennel. Not quite the head of the limit winner, but won this class on her fantastic outline and movement, moving true fore and aft. Was well angulated front and back with nothing exaggerated
2nd: THORN ANDREWS Drakesleat See No Evil – lovely head and expression. Good length of neck and well constructed, just not the outline on the move of 1st and rather full in coat today.

VHC: STEPHENSON Wistex Taking it Easy
