My thanks to the Smooth Haired Club for inviting me to judge, it was great to get back to some normality. There were some excellent dogs having been put through and it was a day for the standards. BIS and RBIS was a close decision.

BIS   Manish’s Raajput’s  Blacky Returns.

Good head and eye with strong forechest without exaggeration. Well sprung ribbing with good length of keel. Correct angulation both front and rear. Strong hocks with good boning and tight feet. Moved soundly with drive, keeping a firm topline. An eye catching boy.

RBIS   Coxon’s Sundsdal’s  Black Cadillac to D’Arisca

Lovely head and eye. Elegant neck leading to well laid back shoulders. Good length and spring of rib. Strong rear angulation. Moved true both front and rear. Correct topline kept on the move. Boning and feet good.

BPIS  Lockett- Walter’s  Ralines Quickstep

Correct head and eye, strong neck with good length. Good pro-sternum with well sprung ribbing and good length of sternum. Moved soundly with drive,  keeping topline. Tight feet and strong boning.

RBPIS  Magri’s Bronia Cellini Rozamie

Nice head and neck. Well ribbed with good forechest. Strong boning and feet. Well angulated front and back. Still needs to mature on the move.

BVIS  Norton’s Ch Matzell Minella

Feminine head with almond eye with strong neck and correct shoulders. Good spring and length of rib.  Correct rear angulation. Moved with drive maintaining topline.

Thankyou for inviting me to judge at this show. I would also like to thank my steward, for all her hard work. Some quality dogs to judge. A few exhibits were carrying a little excess weight. Some front feet were not arched well. Happy to hear my choices went BIS and BPIS

Veteran D/B (3)

1 - Norton M. Ch Matzell Minella ,7yr old red bitch in lovely condition. Feminine head, correct eye shape, front construction correct. Rear angulation correct. Moved with drive even though ring was small. BVIB

2 – Jones . Hampdach in These Arms of Adnerb JW,ShCM. Nice red 7yr old, carrying a little too much condition. So not the drive of 1. Correct expression, correct angulation. Would have preferred tighter feet.

3 – Starkey . Ch Carpaccio Jasper from Hamoura ShCM. VW

MINOR PUPPY DOG (1)

1 -  McNaughton L.    .Cedavoch Struuann, 8 month promising puppy. Nice correct head, leading onto good length of neck. Correct lay of shoulder, good angulation both front and rear. I felt he needed more time to settle on the move. One to watch for future.

PUPPY DOG (1)

1 – Hinwood . Adnerbs Sheer Nanagins  11 month puppy with some maturing ahead of him. Head and neck correct, nice lay of shoulder. Longer in loin than I prefer, movement a little wide behind, should improve with maturity.

1 – Manish Dr C.  Raajputs Blacky Returns, 17 months,  took my eye from the minute he entered the ring. Impressive dog, correct shaped head, prosternum correct, good front angulation, ribbing correct, rear angulation correct with good sweep of stifle. Held top line on move. Well balanced.  Moved with confidence and drive. BOB

2 – Lucas T. Hampdach Dr Watson, nicely put together, well balanced dog, kept a good outline,

3 – Robertson. Rijobeau Jack the Lad at Ravenwood.

LIMIT DOG (3) 1 ABS

1 - Mcnaughton L. Cedavoch Finwe, Lovely dog to judge, everything in place, nice head . A good front leading to good ribbing, rear hind angulation correct., with nice tail set, moved out well. RBD

2 – Heels. Daxanory Menacing Dennis  another nice dog to judge, with a super temperament, nice correct head, good ear set, top line and ribbing good. Just preferred movement of my firs

OPEN DOG (2) 1 abs

1 – Lucas T. Tramadachs Milkcart Driva, a little nervous on the table, needs some more handling. Head and eye correct, carrying a little excess weight, so moved with a rolling gait.

 

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (2) 1 dismissed

1 – Bethal. Great Kapriz Ogita to Hampdach (naf taf) , 8 months lots to mature in this puppy, feminine head, shoulders correct, moved well coming and going, would have preferred tighter feet.

PUPPY BITCH (3)

1 – Lockets- Walters. Railings Quickstep, quality puppy, has every thing in the right place , well balanced for a puppy, nice reach of neck, well laid back shoulders, good front construction, correct hind angulation. Well handled to show her potential BP

2 – O’brien  P. Almaznyi Laretz Europe 11 at Delekadax,  a little unsettled on table, good temperament,  a nice feminine  head, good length of ribbing, would have preferred a better sweep of stifle. Moved with drive and confidence, enjoyed her day.

3 – Addison & Peel Clentry Sweet Melody.

1 – Stark T. Adnerbs Won Vision’s Gobannium JW, good temperament Lovely head and eye, elegant neck, correct lay of shoulders, nice ribbing, good rear angulation, well balanced on the moved, also moved with drive and purpose.

2 – Lucas T. Tramadachs  Bizzy Lizzy. Nice bitch,  head and eye correct  front and rear angulation good, held topline on move , feet could be better,  just did not move with the drive of one.

3 – Heels, Daxanory Ravishing Minx

1 – Norton M. Matzell Martinella. Excellent condition, nice head and eye, well balanced on table and on move,  good length of ribbing and keel, correct hind angulation,  strong hind quarters held head and topline on move. Moved with purpose. RBB

2 – Manish Dr C. Adnerb Forever Charmed at Raajput,  another nice bitch, just preferred the stronger type of one. Well balanced on move. Correct head and nice shaped eye. Good length of ribbing.

3 – Jones. Adnerbs Lexi Get Fizzical.

1 – Lockett – Walters.  Ralines for Petes Sake, there was nothing over exaggerated with this bitch, well balanced, good ground clearance, good proportions, well laid shoulders, Nice feminine head, correct eye shape, well muscled over loin, moved out with drive BB

2 – Manish Dr C. Adnerbs Take A Chance on Me, another quality bitch, with correct head, good front, nice ribbing, lovely in profile, moved well just not the drive of one

Veteran Dog/Bitch (1)

1.Philips stargang high hopes of robinswood. 7yr red male of nice quality.  Clean balanced head.  muscular neck into correct shoulders,level topline which he kept on the move.moved ok.

 

Minor puppy dog.(1)

1.Jennings marvale northern cardinal at jenivon. 6 month shaded baby red. Did well for his first show.Good substance for age.nice head and bone. i would have liked a better layback of shoulder and topline.

 

Puppy dog.(2)

1.Magri Bronia cellini Rozamie. 10month red.love this eyecatching boy.lovely substance and bone.  super front assembly and correct shoulders,short in loin.moved well encouraged by good handling . delighted to award bpib.

2.Mason Teckletown masterpiece.

11months another very nice puppy i liked a lot. Close behind the winner.very similar qualities of winner.but as this boy was finer in bone i preferred the substance of my winner.

 

Junior dog no entries. 

 

Novice dog. (3)

1.Band &Mccarthy Capaccio red alert for essandsee.

Good type.nice body and bone.good shoulder placement and length of upper arm.good clean conical head. Nice front assembly.kept a good topline on the move. I would just prefer better rear angulation to complete the picture.

2.Owen.Gwenday pickpocket.

Good for bone and substance.nice head and front.Nice depth of rib and underline .just preferred the shoulder and upper arm of winner.

 

Post graduate dog (4.1)

1 Jennings Duddondax judge jude for Jenivon.

I really like this male.

Excells in body and bone. 

Super shoulders and lovely front.low to ground.short in loin.he kept a solid topline on the move presented in cracking condition. 

2.Rogers Beachdax red hot blaze at mynyddstud.

Another nice dog who pushed hard for 1st place.very similar qualities as winner just didn't have the rear movement as winner.

1.Beach Riowood arizona jw

Red brindle of beautiful quality and body. Good length of rib.  correct shoulders.strong muscular neck.The cleanest of balanced masculine heads.

Muscled up hind quarters giving power on the move.

Lovely boy.

2.Andison& peel .Andison& peel Clentry Donnie darco.A very close call between these two..all the same qualities apply as winner.i just preferred movement of winner on the day.

 

Open Dog. (8)

A top quality class to judge.

1.Kent Lokmadi Sand Dollar. Fawn in colour..Wow what a joy to judge this boy. This exhibit had everything i was looking for. fitting the breed standard beautifully Very nice masculine head with lovely expression the best of shoulder and front assembly.. low to ground.short in loin with great rib.kept a rock solid topline when on the move.his movement was so fluid and effortless i could have watched him all day.awarded bos.

2.Tites Ayseebee twinking star.

Very close behind winner.good construction throughout.but i preferred the substance of winner.

Also didnt move as well on the day. Res best dog. 

 

Minor puppy bitch.(7.1)

1.Beach Beachdax queen of hearts 8 month old bitch of very nice type. lovely body for one so young. Femine head with nice small eye.good expression good construction throughout.moved very well.

2.Taylors Trageeda Anastasia 7 month red.beautiful bitch of similar type and qualities. Just needs to mature and settle I'm sure she will have a bright future.

 

Puppy bitch.(4.2)

Taylors Trageeda Amara 7 months bitch of lovely quality bone and substance. The best of shoulder placements and front construction so feminine in clean head. Well muscled up hind quarters for one so young. Moved well keeping her topline .Best puppy Bitch. 

2.Jennings Warburtons princess poppet Close behind winner very similar qualities.just didnt have the rear angulation which affected movement. 

 

Junior bitch.(4.1)

1.Cross Logetta Pickled Lilly 13months I liked this bitch very much.everything in the right place.excells in shoulder and front assembly and great rear angulation. loved her overall shape and substance so feminine. I will watch her as she matures.

2.Teckletown lady in red 15 months of good quality.similar build and qualities as winner but lacked the rear angulation of winner.

 

Novice Bitch.(5.1)

1.Magri Boadacea be creative with Rozamie 13months.quality bitch of great substance for age.short coupled body Good shoulders and length of upper arm.lovely keel and underline.moved with powerful drive keeping level topline at all times.one to watch im sure.

2.Rogers.Mynyddstud red hot gossip. Bitch of nice type Good length of rib.nice bone. Femine clean head.just preferred overall balance of winner.

 

Post Graduate (10.2)

1. O'Connell Hollybirch Glowing Gold, this young bitch really caught my eye when she entered the ring.  Shown in immaculate condition.  Plenty of bone and substance. The best of shoulders and deep front construction Such a feminine bitch with pretty clean balanced head.moved with power  keeping a solid topline.I loved her. Res Best Bitch

2.Herald Montone our lady faith at winterfield. Another very nice bitch with similar qualities but not the bone and substance of the winner.

 

Limit Bitch.(6.3)

1.Kent.Lokmadi Catherine Wheel. Easy winner of this class. Quality bitch of great body properties. Super front construction. Good length of rib. Short loin.good length of upper arm and good rear angulation giving such power in the move. 

2.Beer Stargang Candy Stripes at low rider. Very nice well balanced bitch of good body and correct confirmation but lacked the rear angulation and drive if the winner.

 

Open Bitch. (4.1)

1.Coxon Sundsdals Black Cadillac to Darisca.

Such elegance in this beautiful bitch. Lovely flowing lines of neck and shoulders. Super front and underline.prettiest of heads and sweet expression. 

Very nice movement keeping her outline throughout. Just my cup if tea. Best of Breed. 

2.kent.Lokmadi Jingle Belle. Another lovely quality bitch. With a lot of identical qualities.i just preferred the overall shape and balance of my winner.
