V (3) 1 Damai Master Benedict, b/t in excellent condition & appealed for his excellent front assembly, conformation, height to length ratio, holding a very firm topline, very well knuckled feet, moved with good reach & drive; 2 Shardaroba Rigel by Tarramist, very impressive much larger dog than 1, full boned & bodied. Would like to see more return & length of upper arm & slightly more horizontal topline, uses himself well on the move but would like to see more extension of foreleg; 3 Loraine Truly Faye for Dimerlin. PD (3) 1 BOB & G3, Bronia Mr Pepys, wow – this dog is everything I am looking for in a Long, of optimum size & stands over himself in complete balance on good legs & feet. Has one or two areas that could be tweaked to make him perfect but that is just nitpicking. Pleasure to watch on the move & I would think him difficult to beat in any entry. In excellent coat & condition, has a great future ahead. Pleased to see him go G3 under the highly respected Dachshund specialist Jeff Horswell; 2 Africandawns Night Gardian, another promising youngster, yet this one so much more immature & raw than 1. Very attractive head, fabulous front construction & assembly. Topline needs to firm up, needs to settle on the move which will come with time; 3 Bronia Priam of Scandell. JD (3) 1 Africandawns Larrys Legacy, slightly smaller feminine head, shorter in neck & back giving an impression of being cobby although balanced with firm topline, standing on good feet with sufficient bone, moving well; 2 Bronia Kingpin, much larger dog with very strong skull & muzzle, full boned & bodied in good coat, nice front action. Needs to settle in the rear. PGD (1) 1 Darsoms Zethro, of good size & proportions, pleasing head, would like a little more length of neck. Good development of forechest & return of upper arm, firm topline, well ribbed beck, firm well angulated rearquarters, very sound on the up & back, very showy in profile. LD (4) 1 Tekalhaus Licence To Kill with Tarramist, very impressive sound honest male, pleasing head of correct proportions & expression, good length & layback of shoulder, would benefit from slightly more return of upper arm, moderately long body, well ribbed back with strong well muscled short loin; 2 Darsoms Zane of Scandell, quality looking dog of very good type, shape & make, in good coat & condition. Just not moving as well as 1; 3 Dachslur In His Prime. OD (5) 1 RBD, Ch Bronia Larenzo, caught my eye instantly on entering the ring, the most outstanding head & expression, lovely neck, good bone & feet, really uses himself well on the move although not as well constructed in one or two areas as the puppy when it came to competing for BD; 2 Africandawns Night Hawk, very good make, shape & type, firm topline, well ribbed, deep brisket, strong loin, good feet & bone, in full coat, just did not have the reach & drive as 1; 3 Tarramist Adonis Dream. GC (2) 1 Dimerlin Isolde, smart bitch of good length of leg, good ground clearance, good development of forechest & brisket, moderate front & rear angulation, the better of the two on the move. RBB; 2 Laraine Truly Faye for Dimerlin, lower to ground with little clearance, has lost her topline but still in reasonably good condition for her years.

JB (1) 1 Suecaseus Desdemona, very raw teenager still carrying a lot of her puppy fat & needs to muscle up. Good front angulation, well ribbed, firm loin, good croup angle with correct tailset & carriage. Still needs more time to settle on the move. PGB (2) 1 D Isolde; 2 Lillymai Flower by Damai, leggier, rangier & longer bitch, slight arch to her topline. Needs to make better use of herself on the move in order to compete with 1, in good body & coat. OB (3) 1 BB, Tarramist A New Hope, pleasing honest bitch with typical head, good length of neck into well laid shoulders with complementary return of upper arm, well developed forechest, strong rearquarters with rear angulation to match, moving true & sound.
