Puppy Dog  1(0)

1.  Roberts SWANSFORD GABRIELDOR Real quality shaded red dog of ideal proportions and excellent conformation.  Good head and expression with well shaped dark eyes, strong neck into well laid shoulders. Strong topline with ribbing carried well back.  Powerful well angulated quarters which he used to his advantage on the move.  He moved round the ring with drive and extension which sadly appears to be disappearing in the breed today.  Presented in first class condition he never put a foot wrong.  Was delighted to award him Best Puppy, Dog CC and BOB and  later watched him give another sterling performance when he was awarded BIS. Should have  an exciting future.

Post Graduate Dog 4 (2)

1.  Johnson & Cross’s AFRICANDAWNS MYLES LONG Masculine young black & tan presented in first class coat and condition. Good shape and outline with strong topline which he held both standing and on the move. Good bone and ribbing.  Well rounded quarters. Moved steadily around the ring but would just have liked a bit more drive and extension on the day.

2.  Chapman’s AFRICANDAWNS JUST IN TIME FOR MELMINDS Compact shaded red dog with a lovely head and eye giving him a true expression.  Good bone and substance. Balanced throughout.  Moved positively fore and aft but just losing his shape and topline  in profile on the move today.

1.  Chapman’s MELMINDS ZSYLVESTER Very dark shaded red dog with elegance and quality.  One that I believe I judged before as a youngster and I was not disappointed with his maturity. Lovely head and eye, good neck  into well laid shoulders.  Prominent sternum, strong topline and well angulated quarters. Moved soundly at all times keeping his shape.  Just a little lethargic in the challenge today.

2.  Garlick’s RANGLEWOOD HARVEST SONG Black & tan dog with a lovely balanced clean outline.  Nice head and eye. Strong topline, good ribbing carried well back and powerful quarters. Moved well keeping his outline at all times but  not quite the freedom of the winner in front today.

3.  Wedge’s PEVERLEIGH AUTUMNAL LOUIS AT DOLANS

1.  Garlick’s RANGLEWOOD ARASHI Another dark shaded red dog of good type and size. Balanced proportions throughout. Nice head and eye, long muscled neck and good topline.  Well constructed front assembly and well angulated quarters. Moved soundly  coming and going and  used his assets to extend on the move.  Kept his shape and outline at all times. Unlucky to meet the CC winner on such form.  Res. CC

2.  Rodrigues DARSOMS ZYDEXTA  Shaded red dog of much larger proportions.  Good strong neck and topline. Presented in gleaming coat and well muscled condition.  Moved positive and true, keeping his profile shape at all times.

Puppy Bitch 3(1)

1.  Chapman’s MELMINDS MAKE THEM GOLD Promising red bitch puppy with a pleasing disposition.  Only a baby but taking it all very much in her stride. Lovely head and eye with a feminine expression. Well balanced with a good front , and strong topline. Moved with purpose keeping her outline at all times.

2.  Rodrigues AMBERTECKEL BALTIC DAWN AT ISLEWIN Red baby with a lovely head and eye. Quite elegant in her outlook for a baby.. Strong neck and topline.  Good bone, ribbing and feet. Moved soundly and with confidence for a baby but still a little high at the rear both standing and  on the move.

Junior Bitch 5(0)

1.  Miller & Ryan’s BRONIA FINAL FANTASY AT CAVALLIBROOK (AI) JW Feminine shaded red bitch of real quality.  Nice size and type . Lovely head and eye with an intelligent expression.  Excellent front with well positioned shoulders and good length of upper arm.  Prominent sternum, strong neck and topline and  well angulated quarters.  Lovely finished outline which she kept at all times both standing  and moving.  She covered the ground with style and ease and  the required driving action. Just requiring the final coat finish but she has time on her side. Pleased to award her the bitch CC.  Will watch her progress with interest.

2.  Chapman’s AFRICANDAWNS BETTY CAN’T AT MELMINDS Shaded red bitch of nice size, type and proportions.  Good head and eye.  Balanced throughout with a well constructed front, prominent sternum  and well angulated quarters.   Good ribbing carried well back. Moved really well with ease and keeping her shape and topline despite carrying a little excess weight today.

3.  Johnson & Cross’s WARDAX ANGELICA

Post Graduate 2 (0)

1.  Chapman’s MELMINDS MARINA DIAMONDS Shaded red bitch of good size and type.  Strong neck into well placed shoulder. Prominent forechest,  well ribbed with good bone and substance. Nicely rounded and well angulated quarters. Moved positive and true fore and aft and in profile.

2.  Wedge’s FAULKSFOLLIE MISS MINAVER AT DOLANS Elegant red bitch of a very different type. Beautiful head and eye with a feminine outlook.  Not the angulation at either the front or rear of the winner today but moved satisfactorily and obviously enjoyed herself.

Limit Bitch 2 (2)

1.  Johnson & Cross’s AFRICANDAWNS EILEEN OVER Red bitch of good size and type.   Feminine head with well shaped eye. Not overdone in any way. Balanced throughout with well laid shoulders and good rear angulation.  Lovely short hocks. Strong topline and was at her best on the move where she covered the ground with enthusiasm but still holding her profile shape. Res.CC

2.  Garlick’s RANGLEWOOD TRICK OR TREAT Very elegant black & tan bitch with a lovely clean flowing outline. Prominent sternum, well laid shoulder , good ribbing carried well back and well angulated quarters.   Well boned with good substance. Although you could see the use of her many assets on the move she just seemed a little unsure today which detracted from her style on the move.

Open Bitch 5 (0)

1.  McNaughton’s CH.CEDAVOCH CIRCE Elegant shaded red bitch with a refined conical head and beautiful eyes. Strong neck, well placed shoulders, prominent forechest and good ribbing carried well back.

Good topline and well angulated quarters. Presented in lovely coat and condition.  Covered the ground well on the move.

2.  Robert’s CH.SWANSFORD GEMMADORA. Another  top quality red bitch of nice size and type.  Well made throughout with good construction both front and rear.  Had many of the same attributes as the winner though not just quite as steady on the move today.  She is obviously a producer and has passed on many of her qualities to her son who was BOB today.

3.  Geeson’s CH ABYDACHS KUMALA
