Many thanks to the Committee for this appointment. I was
blessed to have some high quality exhibits to judge and it made for a very
enjoyable day. Thank to my team of friendly stewards who kept the ring going.
BOB was the winner of the BCC who went on to RBIS under a breed specialist. JD
(2,1)Hanney-Mitchell’s Dachyclan Lochlan at Bronia (Imp Aus) DCC A young male
with charisma. Lovely head with calm expression from those dark eyes. Head was
carried proudly on just the right length of neck. His shoulders go well back.
Correct front assembly supports and good keel. The elbows fitted neatly. Smooth
ribs. Well bodied with level topline arching slightly to the loin. Plenty muscle
and correctly angulated behind which helped create an easy ground covering
movement. Coat was abundant and in great condition. Will be interesting to
follow his progress. PGD (2,1) Paskins Kindeace Hit the Road Jack. A masculine
and well coated male with good head correct eye neat in front and elbow well
tucked in. Straight legs and good feet he kept his top line standing and moving.
Firm quarters and moved comfortably. LD (3,1) Paskins Kindeace Texas Ranger. A
typical head with that dark eye, smooth neck, good layback of shoulder and neat
front. Nicely ribbed Well angulated quarters moved well on good feet and kept a
level topline on the move covering the ground well. 2 Taylor and Hilton Delsaux
Across the Universe Limit I like this one for size. A tidy front and good feet.
The ribs were long helping to keep a good topline. Firm rear quarters, moved OK
but preferred the length of neck on the winner. OD (2) 1. Roberts Ch Swansford
Prestonador RCC Close choice between this and the CC. Winner. Elegant and
stylish with a super outline, plenty coat, excellent head with dark eye. The
neck flows seamlessly into the shoulder and the front is correct supporting a
good keel. Ribs are deep and long, super underline gradually merging towards
rear which was nicely muscled, well rounded and with strong hocks. Covered
ground well to make this a close decision for me. 2. Paskins Cedavoch It’s Taboo
at Kindeace. Another handsome exhibit with an appealing head, correctly shaped
eyes, good ear set, nice length of neck sloped into a well laid shoulder. Good
length to body. Neat front, good feet. Kept a strong top line on the move.
Lovely picture standing but moved slightly narrow behind today. VD (4,1) 1
Garlick’s Ranglewood Arashi Father and son were first and second. The father
pipped his son into second place. He had a super outline neat front good feet,
Nice length of ribs, well muscled quarters, low hocks, enough ground clearance
and he moved proudly belying his age. 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Harvest Song.
Several similar qualities. He was masculine and lively on the move with the same
good front and ribs as his sire. Another with good firm quarters. Moved well but
I preferred the head and neck of his sire. 3. Brearley’s Labbadax Eyecatchin
Shadow at Xanadax. SpB D/B (3, 1) Heaps Ranglewood’s Katherine She edged this
class. Very feminine but a pretty head, calm expression, good neck, neat front
and feet and there was enough substance. She was nicely ribbed the body was
sturdy and I preferred her movement in this class. 2. O’Neill Ranglewood
Finlaggan at Donnadach. This dog was in super coat. Very masculine. Super
balanced outline he had a good head with kind eye. Neat front assembly and he
was well bodied, good ribs, firm quarters and nice feet. MPB (2) 1. Reid’s
Swansford Daphnedora at Maudaxi Two very nice girls litter mates with many
similar qualities however I preferred the head carriage of the first. Both had
pleasing heads with correct eye shape and colour. This one had a good length of
neck, super front, nicely boned throughout and neat feet. Plenty length to ribs,
Coat coming along nicely, kept her top line and enjoyed her day. 2 Lumley
Swansford Diadora. Many similar features going over her she had a good outline,
Well laid shoulder and tidy front. The rib cage was long and she had firm
quarters. Again she moved well. PB (5) What a class! Lots to look forward in the
future. 1. Dare’s Darsom’s Zyrona. Thought her a real prospect. She took this
class because I felt she was more together than the others but very close
decision. Such a lovely head with a dark eye, good earset. Elegant neck sat on
well laid shoulders. The front was correct, her ribs were good and the top line
well held. Headquarters were firm, low hocks, well coated and quite a picture
going round the ring. 2. Robert’s Swansford Debhoradora Right another really but
just not so mature. She also had a really good head, super expression, good lay
of shoulders and excellent front. Ribs go well back, correct top line,
Hindquarters were firm and she presented an elegant picture in outline. 3.
Reid’s Cavillibrook One Final Kiss at Maudaxi. JB (2) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch As
if By Magic. Another nice puppy This was a close class. First was slightly
larger and more mature. She had a really good head and dark eye correctly shaped
front with plenty keel. Correct ribs, level topline and she was very settled on
the move covering the ground confidently from muscled quarters and on good feet.
BPIS. 2 Pike and Carter’s Breezelyn Longing for Love. Another feminine feminine
exhibit but from a smaller mould again pleasing head, tidy front her ribs were
good she kept a correct top line on the move however I just preferred the rear
movement of the first. YB (2, 1) 1 Paskins Kindeace You Wear it Well. Little
sister to the winner of postgraduate dog however I felt that he was much more
mature and this one just needs that bit more time. A pretty head and dark eye,
enough sternum, neat front. She probably wasn't wearing her best coat today
however she had good hindquarters and neat feet. PGB (2) 1 Garlick’s Ranglewood
Heilen. Pretty head and her neck sits into well laid back shoulders, tidy front,
level topline and firm quarters. Although she was slightly reluctant at first
she settled and moved well. 2. Wedge’s Dolan Summer Time Blues. Such a sweet
girl with a pleasing head, good length of neck. Level topline. Just a shade high
for me. She moved ok but possibly affected by today’s heat. LB (8,2) 1.
Whitfield-Roberts Swansford Patriciadora Excellent outline. Very pleasing head.
Good eye shape and super expression. Neck flowed seamlessly into good lay of
shoulder. Correct front with plenty keel, well bodied with long ribcage, Super
broad quarters low hocks used well to move round the ring on good feet. 2.
Geeson’s Abydachs Hot Patootie. Typical head, with good eye and correct earset.
Elegant neck, shoulders well laid back, well bodied with good bone, lengthy
ribs, muscled quarters. Good outline on the move. 3. Garlick’s Kyrenia Queen’s
Request with Ranglewood. OB (3, 1) Hanney-Mitchell’s Ch Cavillibrook Final Fling
Bronia BCC an absolute picture head to toe feminine and balanced throughout with
an excellent coat. Her head sits on a good long neck flowing into us good top
line seamlessly to a through good lay of shoulder and onto a deep and well
ribbed back body. Super front with good keel and well fitting elbows, good feet.
The top line is strong. Nicely angulated and firm quarters with low hocks. Moved
so well using strength from the rear. BOB.RBIS 2. Pike & Carter Zarcrest
Angelina Jolie at Breezelyn. Another pretty girl. Well balanced and beautifully
presented. Appealing head with nicely set ears. Good eye. Nice length of neck.
Well fitting elbows. Ribs go well back. Topline held well on the move. Muscled
quarters. Just preferred the front on the winner. Ch B (1) McNaughton’s Ch
Cedavoch Blithe Spirit RBCC This girl was close up to the winner. Another
quality exhibit with a super coat. This made a tight choice for me. Excellent
head, a good earset, nice dark eye and the neck flowed nicely into well laid
back shoulder. Her front was correct with super keel well supported by a correct
front. The elbows were neat. She has a good length of rib, firm top line, nicely
rounded quarters and she moved easily around the ring to take the RBCC.
