I would like to thank the committee for my invitation to judge Standard Wire Haired dachshund. It was an enjoyable day and the huge ring provided allowed the exhibitors to showcase there dogs movements to their best. From the exhibits I had one the day all has fabulous temperaments, such a happy outgoing breed, all were in fabulous condition and well presented it is apparent the Wire exhibitors put every effort into maintaining and presenting their dogs. There were a couple who could have stronger rear ends and unfortunately I did find a couple of level bites. JD (2) 1 Phillips Ch Tendrow Will to Succeed, super smart boy with the most stunning head, in fabulous condition with super harsh coat, well balanced with correct front and shoulder. Moved true coming and going. 2 Davies Atahira Finale another super smart boy who excels in rear drive, super bone and feet. Correctly made shoulders however feels he needs slightly more maturity for his shoulders to go back as lost his front a little on the move, a lot to be desired about this boy.   PGD (1) 1 Matthews Sonham Fire Cracker, well balanced boy on the stack fab length of neck and correct head carriage on the move. Nice sized boy and not over done. Good length and spring of rib. Would prefer a little more length of upper arm. LD (2) 1 Sanders Knottsrose Olaf this boy was in peak condition and presented beautifully. Hes super balanced and not over done. He moved true coming and going and held a strong topline on the move, a very balanced dog. 2 Russell Collidach Russell Leeves another presented to perfection with a good hard coat. Super head with correct proportions, and correct eye shape, his biggest asset being his super powerful back end which he used well on the move. Preferred the front movement of class winner on the day. OD (4,1) 1 Rowe Ch Boloria Goodnight Mr Tom JW lovely sized dog nothing overdone, sound head leading into a good length of neck allowing for correct head carriage on the move, excels in front and shoulder with plenty of prosternum. Good length and spring of rib allowing for a gentle underline. Moved true coming and going with good reach in front. Presented and handled to perfection. DCC 2 Moore Cloudside Vincent really lovely this boy, super smart head with correct proportions and dentition. Good length of neck leading into correct shoulders, Lovely proportions with nice long ribbing and a short loin. Leading into this boys biggest asset he has a super conditioned strong back end allowing for powerful drive. Unfortunately in his class I felt he didn’t move as well in front as he could do not reaching out as well as the class winner. Upping his game in the challenge awarded the RCC without hesitation. 3 Christie Cloudside Valentino at Decalleigh JW GCD (1) 1 Russell Collidach Russell Leeves seen dog (LD) handled to perfection to win this class.   MPB (4) 1 Hunt Drakkina’s Gift of Dragon’s this youngster brought her playful energy to the ring lapping up the attention. Super balanced youngster excelling in bone and substance without being too big. Super feminine head and expression, well balanced with good angles fore and aft. Plenty of prostenum, and super long ribbing giving a gentle underline and sturdy topline both held well on the move which contenting with a super waggy tail. BPIB 2 Sirrell Drakkina Dragon Song another with the most lovely outline, super pretty bitch with super sound angles for and aft. Correct sized bitch but still had plenty of bone and substance, a lot to like about this girl, class winner held her topline a little better on the move, but this girl is made right so will come with conditioning and maturity. 3 Seath Sunsong Shine Like a Star PB (2) 1 Sirrell Drakkina Dragon Song seen dog (MPB) super smart baby. 2 Buxton Merelake Agnes another promising pup, very balanced and the truest of movers super parallel coming and going with strong rear drive. Super elegant with fab length of neck and good ground clearance allowing her to move freely, preferred the front and shoulder of the class winner. JB (3) 1 Binks Tannahill Lovely Day this girl caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring, super correct bitch of the correct size, super feminine head, to go over she is so balanced with everything in the right place, excels in front and shoulder, super length and spring of rib with a super short loin. Text book shoulders with correct angulation mirrored on the back end aswell, moving true coming and going, strong contender in the challenge RCC. 2 Sirrell Hopewood Dream Come True another girl with a strong back end well muscle which she uses to her advantage to drive around the ring. She didn’t have the front and shoulder of the class winner making her a little less balanced on the move however this girl does have strong attributes. 3 Hunt Bramalodge Boston Tea Party for Drakkina PGB (3,1) 1 Sieminski Wyldetarn Genesis Typey bitch with a classic outline well angulated with a rock solid topline which was held on the move, and a gradual underline. Plenty of pro sternum on this girk and correct lay of shoulder allowing for super correct front. 2 Buxton Wyldertarn Ado rangier than the class winner but with super bone and feet, plenty of ground clearance allowing her to cover the ground freely two super sound girls in this class that I am sure will switch places on other days. LB (5) 1 Hutchings Collidach Raynee Day JW a true dachshund angles in all the right places, a bigger girl but could not deny her correct assembly. Correct proportioned head with strong correct dentition, enough length of neck, her front and shoulder is so correct which is mirrored in her rear angles. Your hands just glide over this girl, Fantastic length and spring of rib and a temperament to die for. Then she moves! This girl could move all day super powerful rear end and plenty of reach in front. BCC & BOB, thrilled to hear this made her up. 2 Paterson Brumberhill Biscuit to Ambiesque another beautifully made girl, all the same attributes of the class winner a little straighter in crook, but that is nitpicking she is beautifully balanced with a super feminine head, correct size, did not put a foot wrong and the move, one to watch, lovely quality class. 3 Binks Tannahill Day by Day OB (3) 1 Howlett & Rowe Ch Boloria Oh Darling JW super sound girl, super balanced with correct angles fore and aft, true mover coming and going, the most fabulous temperament did not stop wagging. Won the class on her front assembly. 2 Howlett & Phillips Ch Tendrow Makes The Right Turn JW another super smart bitch, super well balanced and did not put a foot wrong on the move. Preferred to angulation of the class winner but this girl has many attributes. 3 Buxton Hazelglade Harriet
