PD 1-0 Hanney-Mitchell & Wilkinson & Wakeham, 1. Bronia Luciano entered my ring alone, showing a maturity beyond his 11 months. He moved with excellent reach and drive, covering the ground effortlessly and accurately in all directions. He has a beautiful hound head with deep, dark eyes, well-set ears carrying lovely feathering, and a perfect balance of muzzle length to his strong jaw. His front assembly is superb, displaying correct angulation and a well-developed sternum, with elbows neatly tucked in. On the move, he powered around with plenty of reach, maintaining his outline throughout. He was presented to me in glorious condition and was awarded his first CC, BPD, BOB & BPIB. PGD 3-1 1. Garlick's Ranglewood Christmas Star is a smaller dog, yet he carries himself with a bright, confident presence that draws the eye. His elbows are excellent, neatly tucked in and true, giving him a clean, balanced outline. His dentition is good, his shoulders well laid back, and his length of ribbing speaks of a dog built to move with purpose. On the go he shows a determined drive, pushing from behind with an energy that belies his size. It was that honest, forward momentum, that sense of a dog eager to work with the ground beneath him, that ultimately won him his class. 2. Paskins Kindeace London's Calling JW is a very dark-shaded red, his coat gleaming and beautifully prepared, enhancing the richness of his colour. He stands in lovely condition, every line clean and balanced. On the move, he shows good rear extension, driving out with purpose and maintaining his outline with ease. A dog of quality who leaves a lasting impression. LD 4-0 1. Taylor & Hilton & Basha's Delsaux Made It Jumbo Band, A lovely size, instantly pleasing to the eye, and he won this class with ease. His elbows are beautifully tucked in, giving him that clean, correct front outline. He drives from behind with excellent purpose, his rear powering him forward with a lovely bend of stifle that adds harmony to every stride. His head is charming, his eye soft and appealing, the kind of expression that completes the picture of a truly quality hound. 2. Paskin's Kindeace Hit The Road Jack JW, A lovely boy to go over, presenting himself with confidence and charm. His dentition is good; his rib cage is excellent — long, well‑sprung, and giving him that balanced, functional outline. On the move, he drives well from behind, pushing forward with an honest, purposeful stride that completes the picture of a quality hound. OD 2-0 1. Geeson's Ch Abydachs Abydachs Return of The Night. A dark shaded red of beautiful richness, his coat gleaming and his condition immaculate. He is a beautiful boy to put your hands on, every angle falling exactly where it should. His elbows are neat, his sternum well defined, his feet superb. On the move, he strides out so well, flowing forward with purpose and ease, a picture of correctness wrapped in gleaming colour. RDCC. 2. O'Neill's Ranglewood Finlaggan at Donnadach. Black and tan, A black and tan with a soft wave through his coat, and the heat was clearly weighing on him in that moment. Even so, he held himself together on the move, circling the ring with a steady, willing stride that spoke of his good nature and determination despite the weather. VD 1. Roberts Ch Swansford Gabrieldor, one of the most beautiful, shaded reds, has a colour deepened by extremely dark shadings that catch the eye instantly. As I went over him, my hands flowed from one point to the next; every transition was seamless, every detail exactly where it should be. I could not fault him, point to point — he is a dog whose construction feels almost inevitable in its correctness. His enthusiasm to move was a joy in itself, a bright, eager energy that made watching him a pleasure. Had it not been such a dead heat, I would have gladly sent him around again to enjoy that effortless, spirited stride once more. A truly beautiful boy, and well deserving of BVIB and Veteran Group 2. - 2. O'Neill's Ranglewood Finlaggan at Donnadach, a black and tan who was really feeling the heat, and understandably so on such a difficult day. Even with the temperature working against him, he did enough — steady, willing, and honest in his effort — to secure his second place. A dog that gave what he could in the conditions deserves recognition. SB 4 - 2 1. Page's Giovanni Rude for Kokoadax (Imp Ltu) Black and tan dog, in superb condition, presented and handled with evident care. He shows a nice head and teeth, with a good topline and tailset that give him a balanced, pleasing outline. On the move, he moved well, covering ground with a steady, willing stride that completed the picture. 2. Heap's Ranglewood Katrine, A black and tan of lower type, compact and neat in outline. Elbows could be a touch tighter to refine the front, and her ribbing would benefit from a little more length to strengthen balance and drive. On the move, she went around willingly, offering a steady, honest stride that carried her through the ring with quiet purpose. PB 4 - 1 1. Whitfield-Roberts's Swansford Opheliadora A black and tan in good coat and condition, gleaming and well presented. She shows excellent reach and drive, moving out with purpose and fluidity. Her lovely head and eyes, paired with great dentition and good length, create a balanced, feminine outline that is a pleasure to assess. 2. Pike & Carter's Swansford Olympiadora at Breezelyn, Same remarks as the winner — she carries that same quality and outline, and the final decision rested on the finest of details. Her ribbing simply needs a little more length at this age, and she is not quite muscled enough yet, which softens her overall balance on the move. Even so, she remains a lovely girl, very close in merit to the winner, and her future development will no doubt bring everything together beautifully. JB 2-1 1 Abydachs Out of The Fire (AI) A girl with a beautiful front and underline, presenting a clean, balanced outline. She shows a good head, ears and feet, all tidy and correct, with a super presentation that highlights her quality. Her bend of stifle and forechest are well made, giving her the structure and strength to move with purpose and ease. BJIB PGB 3-0 1. McGavigan & Pettigrew's Pettigans Chanson D’amour A shaded red of correct size, a real pleasure to go over. Under the hand, she revealed balanced construction and neat, well‑placed angulation, each part sitting exactly where it should. Handled with care, she showed good coat and condition and presented herself with composure, allowing her quality to be clearly seen in profile and on the move. 2. Taylor & Hilton's Delsaux Singer with The Band, A shaded red who was clearly feeling the heat on the day and understandably subdued by the conditions. She showed tightly fitting elbows, a good underline, and a well-set tail, all combining to give a tidy, correct outline under the hand. Despite the weather, she went around honestly, presenting herself with composure and enough movement to show her quality. LB 4-0 1. Garlicks's Kyrenia Queens Request with Ranglewood, A super bitch, tidy and compact with a neat, balanced outline. She shows an excellent front, well-sprung ribbing, and a strong rear, all combining to give correct, efficient construction. On the move, she moves well, covering ground with purpose and a steady, willing stride. 2. Lacey's Abydachs Renegade Angel at Abydezi. A very typey bitch in excellent coat, the whole picture is immediately appealing. She has a pleasing head and eye and great ribbing, giving her a clean, balanced outline under the hand. On the move, she travels with reach and drive, covering ground with purpose and correct action. OB: 3-0 Roberts Ch Swansford Padmeadora JW 1. A shaded red of textbook construction, it’s no wonder the hands just flow over her. She has a classic front, long ribbing, and a neat pencil shelf, qualities that won her the class. Around the ring, she powered with reach and drive, showing true athleticism and presence that completed a thoroughly deserving win. BCC 2. Pike and Carter's Ch/ir/lux Ch Breezelyn Longing for Love CW25 Elegant and succinct, this shaded red draws the eye with polished style. Richly shaded, she stands in poised symmetry, a picture of feminine balance. A lovely head and eye, good chest depth and snug elbows complete with a flowing silhouette. She moves with intent, her stride full of reach and driving energy. RBCC VB: 1-0 1. Lumley's Dagastren Martha My Dear, Golden bitch, it was hard to assess her in the heat, which was quite overwhelming by now. She was really feeling it, too, and was struggling to move with any oomph.
