SMOOTH HAIRED

JD (0). PGD (2) 1 Harris’ Smooth Operator, head in correct proportions, well set ears, good reach in neck, prominent sternum, leg set under a good depth of keel, level topline maintained on the move, well shaped behind with all the right angles. Although not standing completely true behind moved with precision covering the ground; 2 Starkey’s Carpaccio Top Of The Class at Hamoura, good masculine head, well shaped eye, plenty of depth but with sufficient ground clearance, level topline & good rear angulation. Hock could be more upright & in moving lacked the precision of 1. LD (4) 1 Macdonald’s Carpaccio Black Out at Bensarka, strong masculine dog, refined well tapered head, clean neck with reach, good depth with leg well set under, good outline, level topline maintained on the move, good hind angulation, well set upright hock, active mover covering the ground with truth & drive. RBD; 2 Tite & Eales’ Lauralee The X Factor, appealing head & well constructed in front, prominent sternum & deep keel but still having sufficient ground clearance, well returned upper arm, active on the move with drive & extension. Lacking a little truth behind; 3 Harris & Kendall’s The Jetsetters Legacy. OD (2,1) 1 Tite & Eales’ Ch Lauralee Role Of Honour via Rijobeau, real quality, head of correct proportions & well tapered, excellent outline, prominent sternum & deep keel fitting well into good return of upper arm & leg which was well set under, well laid shoulder, maintained level topline while on the move, very good hind angulation, well set perpendicular hock, active mover who covered a lot of ground. Only complaint was that he moved a little close behind. BOB.

JB (2,1) 1 Macdonald’s Hampdach Classic Gold at Bensarka, 11 months feminine lady who was well forward for age, correct refined head, well set ears & eyes, good depth & prominent sternum, good outline, all the correct right angles behind with low set perpendicular hock, true active mover. BP & RBB; 2 PGB (0). LB (3) 1 Otter & Wilson’s Come Dancing, good overall balance, feminine refined head, well set eye & ear, deep keel but still maintaining sufficient ground clearance, level topline & well angulated with low set perpendicular hock, well laid shoulder, leg well set under, active true, vigorous mover. BB; 2 Harris’ Reach For The Stars, slightly nervous but with well proportioned head, good dark eye & well set ear, well filled in front, correct conformation, front leg well set under & tight to keel, correct right angles behind, moved with vigour. Lacked truth of 1; 3 Ellis’ Tealby Taken As Read. OB (1) A.
