S/H – I thank the exhibitors for the lovely entry both in terms of numbers & the quality of the exhibits. Temperaments were excellent as was presentation with most dogs in gleaming coat & condition & generally good muscletone. Hind action was a little disappointing in some cases.

MPD (1) 1 Armstrong’s Lauralee Dodging Bullets, presents a lovely outline on the table & he holds this well on the move. Strong neck which could be a little cleaner for perfection. Well laid shoulders, good forehand, well boned. Good rib & strong loin. Very impressive in profile with a flowing easy stride. PD (3) 1 Kerry’s Kireton Beau Diddley, pleasing masculine head, dark eye, good sized teeth & perfect bite, good expression. Excellent topline with strong, very slightly arched loin. Very good forehand, decent brisket. Good ground clearance. Moved out well. BPD; 2 Raggett’s Amlida Vantage for Dansila, shown in good muscletone with a gleaming coat. Pleasing expression, clean slightly arched neck, adequate bone & good feet. Well balanced with decent topline. Pleasing in profile but couldn’t quite match the rear action of the winner. JD (1) 1 Clark & Hastie’s Sirius Rising, well muscled with a pleasing head of good length, adequate bone, good feet. Well balanced with adequate ground clearance. Once settled he moved soundly. Lovely temperament. PGD (4) 1 Seago & Gibbard’s Amlida Aston, good head with an intelligent alert expression. Pleasing forehand with well laid shoulder, good bone & pleasing arched feet. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Well balanced & workmanlike. Kept his good outline both standing & moving; 2 Payton’s Minalsa Mulberry of Marajo, this good moving red dog was carrying just a fraction more weight than the winner. Good neck & clean well laid shoulders, moved well with a true easy action; 3 Andison & Peel’s Fireball Gang Della Parda. LD (2) 1 Seago & Gibbard’s Amlida Spirit, impressed for his lovely balance & first class outline. Long masculine head. Very good forehand, well ribbed back with strong loin. Long easy stride with a very true action. Should finish at the top. RBD; 2 Andison & Pel’s Excellmagic Wonderway Way, shown in superb, gleaming condition & good muscletone. Well balanced with good ground clearance, pleasing forehand. Croup is a little short. Sound & impressive on the move. OD (4) A really good class. 1 Armstrong’s Ch Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby, an impressive masculine dog with a pleasing head of good length, strong jaw. Excellent neck & shoulder with good keel, well boned with good feet. Well ribbed with a strong short loin. Lovely rounded rump with well muscled, strong hindquarters which gave him some thrust on the move. BD & BOB; 2 Higgins’ Ch Leveliss Saucy Sailor, close up to the winner & he too is beautifully balanced with a very good outline, attractive masculine head, good bone & feet. Good length of rib. Impressed on the move both fore & aft. Sadly missed the challenge for RBD; 3 Norton’s Matzell Man Of The Match.

MPB (4) 1 Armstrong’s Lauralee Girl Crush, a very good moving bitch with a true flowing action & the strength of her hindquarters just gave her the edge today. Good forehand with adequate bone & decent feet. Excellent topline & tailset with good length of rib. Should have a good future; 2 Paget & Carroll’s Lauralee Lying Eyes for Marvale, like her litter sisters she impresses in outline with her good neck & shoulders & proud head carriage. Good keel, well muscled body with good length of rib. Just a little untidy moving away from me today; 3 Hunt’s Lauralee Miss Marple at Carpaccio. PB (5) 1 Reynolds’ Cwmdarhian Look Whos Talkin, feminine & beautifully balanced with good ground clearance & excellent topline. Pleasing head of good length. Lovely neck & shoulders, muscular, well ribbed body. Strong well made hindquarters. Moved well with a true easy action. BP; 2 Kerry’s Kireton Daisy Belle, not quite the confidence of the winner but she too is well balanced with a very good forehand & decent bone & feet. Very easy profile action with good length of stride; 3 Playfair’s Little Miss Dynamic. JB (1) 1 Playfair’s Demorgan Secret, typical & well balanced with a lively expression. Good ground clearance, well ribbed back & good loin. Pleasing profile action but a tad untidy both coming & going. PGB (1) A. LB (5) 1 Higgins’ Leveliss Hong Kong Garden, very smart & kept her pleasing outline at all time both moving & standing. Excellent forehand with good shoulders, decent bone & feet. Well ribbed back with a short strong loin. Strong well muscled hindquarters gave her a true flowing action. RBB; 2 Norton’s Matzell Minella, excels in balance & type, excellent forehand with well developed keel, good bone, well ribbed with decent loin. Couldn’t quite match the very true hind action of the winner; 3 Raggett’s Dansila Reach For The Stars. OB (4) 1 Norton’s Ch Matzell Maid In Time, completely unexaggerated & beautifully balanced with good ground clearance. Good length of head, pleasing expression, strong jaw. Clean neck & shoulders, good keel. Well ribbed back with a strong short loin. Very impressive on the move with a sound true action & good length of stride; 2 Cunningham’s Ir Ch Sontag Say The Word for Celandine, well balanced & workmanlike with her good muscletone, adequate ground clearance, good rib & a most pleasing outline. Moved out well with a fluid easy action & good length of stride; 3 Turner’s Marictur Moulin Rouge
