BEST OF BREED : CHAUNAN Ch Raajputs Blacky Returns
Thank you to Officers and Committee for a super weekend, which despite appalling weather we thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you also to everyone for their entries and for braving the weather. I thought the Breed to be in excellent shape, and I did not find one bad temperament in all the Exhibits. General condition and quality was good.
Puppy Dog. 3 Entries.
1st _ Rycroft’s - Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah. Lovely B&T dog puppy Correct shaped head and eyes. Good forechest, well laid- back shoulders and tight well- kept feet. Good length of ribbing. Moved soundly keeping his topline at all times
2nd – Rycroft’s - Fantastic Frank. Nice outline. Good head and dark eye, fair reach of neck and forechest. Moved with drive, good topline on the move.
3rd_ Coupland’s - Retrohound Hermes.
Junior Dog. 3 Entries.
1st – Moes & Williams – Cwmdarhian Super Mario. A really nicely constructed smart red Dog, with no obvious faults. Stood like a dream. Well-Shaped head, dark oval eyes and a good reach of neck. Super tight elbows and prominent forechest lovely hind angulation, giving him sound movement, with plenty of drive and determination.
2nd – Binks – Cedavoch Ocean Storm. This Red dog was also well constructed, moved well with reach and drive and kept his topline standing and on the move.
Post Graduate Dog. 4 Entries.
1st – Starky’s – Carpaccio Magnum P.I. At Humoura. Very smart B&T Dog, with a lovely pleasing head and eye, strong topline and holds himself well. Sound movement. Quite a strong character, and was a pleasure to judge.
2nd - Rycroft’s – Skywalker Blue. Pleasing side profile, Well constructed in forequarters, with a correct front. Good level topline.
3rd – Hinwood’s Adnerbs Sheer Nanagins.
Limit Dog – 2 Entries.
1st – Hunt’s – Pelliroja Joined Forces With Carpaccio. Smart clean lines, Good in outline and correct in length. Good length of ribbing. Sound front assemble, tight feet. Moved well keeping his topline at all times.
Open Dog – 7 Entries.
1st and 2nd for me were of excellent quality and with little to differentiate between, made it a difficult choice. Both a credit to their Owner and Breeders.
1st – Chuahan’s - Raajputs Blacky Returns. A super Black and Tan Dog, lovely in size and overall shape. Good masculine head, dark oval eye, tight well- kept feet. Excellent proportions and well angulated fore and aft. Moved soundly with drive and determination. A worthy winner. Dog Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed.
2nd – McNaughton’s - Cedavoch Struuann. Another well constructed dog, with no obvious faults. He is a super type and size for me. Head, eye and front assembly was good, with sound topline at all times with excellent movement. Reserve Dog Challenge Certificate.
3rd – Macdonalds - Bensarka Limerick.
Good Citizens Dog - No entries.
Veteran Dog – No Entries.
Puppy Bitch – 4 Entries.
1st – Young’s – Craimose Freesia. Lovely sizes Bitch. Lovely head and expression, adequate forechest and tight feet. Nice outline at all times. Best Puppy In Breed.
2nd – Tomlinson’s – Melisdax Mischief In May. Lovely young Puppy, Good head and dark eye, Front assembly correctly built adequate ribbing and good hind angulation.
3rd – Roberts & Smith’s – Craimose Aquilegia For Rayol.
Junior Bitch – 6 Entries.
1st _ Mr P & Mr B Paterson – Cwmdarhian The Mistress. A really promising young Bitch full of quality. Overall well constructed, with a lovely outline. Nothing over exaggerated, I liked the shape, movement and temperament. In super condition.
2nd – Stark’s – Adnerbs Not On Your Nellie Gobannium. Head of correct proportions, nice reach of neck on well laid shoulders. Reasonable front assembly. Moved well.
3rd - Tomlinson’s – Melisdax Magnolia In May.
Post Graduate Bitch – 7 Entries.
1st – Hunt’s – Lauralee Joan Of Arc At Carpaccio. Nice head and dark oval eye, long neck good forechest tight feet. Adequate length of ribbing, moved well keeping her topline both standing and on the move.
2nd - McNaughton’s – Cedavoch Sea Breese. Attractive Bitch, well laid shoulders sound front assembly and good hind angulation and topline. Moved soundly.
3rd – Roberts – Cedavoch Blowing A Gale To Swansford.

1st – Moes & Williams – Cwmdarhian The Governess. This Bitch caught my eye as she walked in, so elegant and true in movement. Lovely shaped head and eye, excellent reach of neck, good pro sternum and sound shoulders, deep ribbing, and sound hind movement. Bitch Challenge Certificate, and well deserved.
2nd – Mrs C & Miss L Macdonald’s – Hampdach Alice Springs At Bensarka. A well- constructed Bitch, well put together. Nice front assembly, tight well- kept feet, and good hind angulation. Moved well.
3rd- Stark’s – Adnerbs Won Vision Of Gobannium.
Open Bitch – 5 Entries
1st - Chuahan’s – Adnerbs Take A Chance On Me At Raajput. Lovely type, sound front assembly, good spring of ribbing, with nicely rounded quarters, well- constructed, no overall faults, a credit to owner and Breeder. Good breed type, and kept her topline at all times. Reserve Challenge Certificate.
2nd – Tomlinson – Bensarka Emerald Isle To Melisdax. Well presented Bitch, Good reach of neck and lay of shoulder, Fair topline and moved well.
3rd – Hinwood’s – Longmel Special Truffle.
