WIRE HAIRED

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge and to the exhibitors who must be commended on the quality of this breed. After judging I felt that this is now one of the strongest of the dachshund varieties and the exhibits were for the most part presented beautifully and of an especially high standard. VD/B (7,2a) 1 McCalmont's Ch Silvae Pickwick. At the age of 11 was still in great shape. Good coat, well constructed and super smart. 2 Moore's Ch/Ir/Am Ch Raydachs Tom Cruisen On (Imp USA). Worthy champion dog good front, well angulated rear, beautiful length of neck and kept a super outline on the move. 3 Kent's Liebling Play In The Hay. Sp Beg D/B (1) 1 Piper's Aventine Second Edition, brindle bitch, lovely head, adequate front, nice tight coat and well angulated. PD 1 Skinner's Rittterburg Storm Trooper, super head and dentition, good front with nice tight elbows, sound hind rear with good hammy quarters. A smart puppy with the correct coat. JD 1 Phillip's Cishelvine Swellegant Guy At Tendrow, small brindle dog, really enjoying himself. Lovely coat, super front angulation, sound correct movement keeping a good outline on the move. 2 Skinner's Rittterburg Storm Trooper. 3 Maxwell's Tannahill Ash At Bardrestan. PGD 1 Rees' Ermewood Joint Effort, beautifully presented brindle dog. Good length of ribbing and well angulated rear but not as well angulated in the front. Very sound mover keeping a good topline at all times. 2 Carter's Romanchi Alkansea, a lovely dog, super forechest and correctly placed shoulders. Moved beautifully. 3 Surrell & Coleman's Bokra Tabasco. LD 1 Bates & Maes-Jones Derochaise Mutineer, superb dark brindle dog of excellent quality. Correct head & eye, super neck with the best of fronts. Lovely well angulated hindquarters. Beautiful mover, sound with a lovely side gait keeping a perfect outline. Pleased to award him the CC, his first. 2 Mccalmont's Silvae Paradigm, a lovely boy with excellent bone and substance. Kept a perfect topline at all times and super hind angulation. Just not the front construction of 1st. 3 Moore's Romanchi Mohican. OD 1 Moore & Coverley's Ch Ex Sentia I'm Bond James Bond (Imp Pol) – a super constructed dog of good size, beautiful head & expression, lovely front and rear angulation and well sprung ribs. I loved his attitude and he pushed hard for the CC all the way, a very close decision, RCC. 2 Dible's Ch Lieblings Stormin Norman – stunning red dog who I have loved but just wouldn't give today. Lovely tight coat, beautiful head, eye & expression, well constructed. 3 Mccalmont, Heywood & Pedroso's Am Ch Treis Pinheiros Zucchini. MPB 1 Pughe & Fraser's Bystock Black Truffle, lovely 6 month old dark brindle puppy. Pretty head, good front with super shoulders. Lovely hind angulation, standing and moving with lovely topline and excellent outline. Should have a bright future and was pleased to see her go BPIS. 2 Carruthers & Marston-Pollock's Stanegate Ice Maiden, nice red bitch. Lovely head & eye, good shoulders, super angulation, moved with purpose. 3 Dible's Lieblings Tiger Lilly. PB 1 Seath's Boloria's Kaleena At Sunsong, pretty brindle bitch with a happy temperament. Very well constructed with lovely angles, a good front and tight well padded feet. 2 Phillip's Tendrow Replayed In Red, lovely red baby, a close decision. Angulation excellent both front and rear, well presented and moved nicely. 3 Edwards & Lavin's Romanchi Kikima Of Bellavin. JB 1 Mccalmont's Silvae Zeal, a lovely bitch though a little on the big side but she stood out in this class. Super outline, lovely length and well angulated. 2 Marston-Pollock's Cloudside Lara, red brindle bitch with super head and neck. Well angulated both fore and aft with well placed shoulders. Just not the movement of 1. 3 Squire's Silver Sixpence. NB 1 Piper's Aventine Second Edition. PGB 1 Seath's Sunsong Gypsy Music, lovely outline standing and moving keeping a good topline, stood true fore and aft with tight shoulders and super hind angulation. 2 Gibson's Allfreys Starduster, nice red bitch with a lovely outline but out of coat. Good head, eye & neck and moved very well. 3 Rowe's Boloria Anisia Bella. LB 1 Davies' Atahira Centissima, super presentation on this bitch. Well constructed with good head and kind expression, well sprung rib, correctly placed shoulders and nice hammy quarters. 2 Phillips' Tendrow Poetic Justice, another nice red bitch but out of coat. Lovely head, eye & neck with prominent forechest. Kept a lovely outline on the move. 3 Seath's Sunsong Gypsy Rose. OB A stunning class of bitches and close descision could change places on other days. 1 Bates & Maes-Jones' Ch Derochaise Black Orchid, this super brindle bitch topped a fabulous class. Absolutely stunning, I loved everything about her. Correct size, beautiful head & eye, reachy neck, tight feet, well sprung ribs, excellent topline and lovely hind angulation. She moved like a dream. CC, BOB and pleased to see her go BIS, congratulations to this breeder on two beautiful dogs. 2 Paterson's Ch Cloudside Isodora At Ambiesque, another lovely bitch who was looking fantastic and presented to perfection. Deserves her title, just unlucky to meet 1 today. RCC. 3 McCalmont's Ch Silvae Zest.
