Thank you to LKA for
my invitation to judge and thank you to the exhibitors for the quality entry. I
really love this variety, probably my favourite to judge. Such happy characters,
I’m sure all the exhibits are a joy to live with. Just on the downside I came
across several level bites, this really is something to watch for the future.
MPD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: SHAW’S, Ms J Tendrow Will I Am. Red, lovely young puppy at 6 months. Super
head and expression with excellent furnishings. Good reach of neck down into
well placed shoulder, nicely angulated throughout. So well put together, moved
really well with great hind extension keeping a good topline. Beautiful outline
on the stack.
2nd: HASTINGS, Mrs S Lieblings Says Simon (ai) ARAF. Another Red youngster,
much to like as one but not quite as steady, little longer in the loin and
furnishings still to develop, a real baby.
3rd: TURNER, Mrs C H & TURNER, Miss H & MERRIFIELD, Mrs Cloudside Tomfoolery
PD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: HASTINGS, Mrs S Lieblings Says Simon (ai) ARAF. As 2nd in MPD
2nd: ELDRED, Miss S A Derdledash Naughty Neptune 9 months old B & T. Correct
head with nice expression, nicely made but not the bone of one. Moved soundly
with drive keeping a good outline
JD (4 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: SANDERS, Mrs L Just Lennys Choc Chip by Knottsrose. Dapple, very glamorous
young man, good head and expression, good harsh coat, nice length of neck.
Excellent proportions throughout. Moved true and sound fore and back, super
hind angulation
PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: DAVIES, Mrs C Atahira Ruffian Masculine head with nice expression, good
front, well made all through, excellent hind angulation. Moved true and sound
2nd: HORNE, Mr M Salixian Moroccan Mint. Cobbier type than one, just preferred
the movement on one

1st: MCCALMONT, Mrs K & MCCALMONT, Mr D Silvae Timekeeper.
Super
head and expression nice dark eye, well-made throughout, nicely angulated, moved
so sound and true, excellent body condition Res CC
2nd: MATTHEWS, Mrs A D Stanegate Billy The Kid at Sonham JW Shorter cobbier
type than one, good head and expression, nice hind angulation, just preferred
the front on one.
3rd: GRAHAM, Mrs J A & GRAHAM, Mr A Stanegate Shot in the Dark JW

1st: MOORE, Mrs A & DOWNES, Miss L Ch Megline Aramis. Super masculine boy,
good head and expression, super front, well-made throughout, moved true fore and
back with drive keeping an excellent outline, excellent body condition. Dog CC
2nd: 1790 PHILLIPS, Mrs V Royal Pepper's Vice Versa (IMP FIN) (Imp Fin) Smaller
type than one and not as settled on the move. Excellent head and expression

1st: PHILLIPS, Mrs V Tendrow Turns Over The Page. Very feminine 6 months old.
Good head and sweet expression, nicely made throughout, well angulated, good
front construction, moved well with drive, very sound
2nd: CONNELL, Mr & MRS N & CALLON, MRS J Sonorra Calamity Jane. Another really
feminine bitch, good head and expression, well angulated all through, moved
well, just preferred the front of one.
3rd: PUGHE, Ms H & FRASER, Ms C Ambiesque Avert At Bystock
PB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: PHILLIPS, Mrs V Tendrow Makes The Right Turn. A lovely chunky puppy.
Super head and expression, lively character full of personality, well-made
throughout, nicely angulated, moved well keeping good topline.
2nd: ARTHURS, Mr &Mrs A Elderkine's Hot Gossip. Red. Good head, sweet
expression, well angulated, movefd out well keeping topline, just preferred the
front of one.
3rd: GARRATT, Mrs D Fowlerheight Hot Wired at Marchmanor

VHC:
JB (10 Entries) Abs: 2. A really quality class
1st: ROWE, miss R Boloria Nice'N Spicy JW. What a live wire, super head and
expression, harsh coat with good furnishings. Well made throughout with superb
angulation. Moved with drive and purpose, so sound. Handled to perfection
2nd: PUGHE, Ms H & FRASER, Ms C Bystock Tina Turner. Correct head and lovely
expression, well made all through, slightly taller than one, not as well
angulated as one.
3rd: MATTHEWS, Mrs

1st: MCPHERSON, Mr S & PATERSON, Mr P Brumberhill Biscotti (ai) Excellent head
and expression, kind dark eyes. Well-made throughout, with a super harsh coat.
Lovely strong purposeful movement, true coming and going, nicely muscled hind
quarters.
2nd: DAVIES, Mrs C Atahira Dolciami. Pale redGood head, nice size, not quite the
substance or confidence of one, super hind angulation.
3rd: ARTHURS, Mr &Mrs A Elderkine Rumours
LB (6 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: HUTCHINGS, Mrs F Collidach Brook Ling
Red bitch It was hard to take my eyes away from her as she entered the ring, so
striking.
Didn’t disappoint when I got my hands on her. Super head and expression with
lovely soft dark eyes. Well-made throughout, correct harsh coat, excels in
movement, so true fore and back with drive, keeping a good topline, so sound.
CC winner her fourth I believe, the icing on the cake and Best of Breed
2nd: MCCALMONT, Mrs K & MCCALMONT, Mr D Silvae Sky Dancer. Another lovely girl,
good head and expression, well-made throughout, good coat, just preferred the
movement of one, a close decision.
3rd: MATTHEWS, Mrs A D Wyeknot Come Fly With Me over Sonham
OB (6 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: MCCALMONT, Mrs K & MCCALMONT, Mr D Silvae Fan Dancer Res CC. a super
quality bitch, a super head and expression, excellent coat and furnishings,
well-made throughout, superb angulations. So sound, move with drive and
purpose.
2nd: MOORE, Mrs A & DOWNES, Miss L Megline Bohemian Rhapsody. Quality bitch,
slightly larger size than one, nicely put together, moved out well keeping good
topline, just preferred the tail set on one.
3rd: COVERLEY, Mrs L Aventine Dolcetto
VB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: ELDRED, Miss S A Bramalodge Amiety. Lovely Bitch, 7 ½ years old. Excellent
head and expression, super body condition, well-made throughout, moved out with
drive keeping a good topline. Best Veteran
