Thank you to the society for inviting me to judge at their show, a long awaited appointment which had been cancelled due to covid and re-scheduled to this date. Not a numerically big entry, but plenty of quality to evaluate when it came to my final awards.
Class 1953 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4428 CARRUTHERS, Mrs J Stanegate Salvador, at 7 months this youngster must
surely have a bright future, he is a good size, with super head, firm muscular
neck set into well laid shoulders well balanced all through with strong bone,
well ribbed back body, firm level topline, strong well angulated rear quarters.
Covered the ground well, and really came into his own later in the big ring
where he moved and showed with total confidence, to be shortlisted by the judge.

Class 1960 PB (5 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 4425 BEAGRIE, Mrs Amanda & BEAGRIE, Mr Andrew Ellesophia Light The Way to
Feldhund, three bitches of differing types and a varying stages of development.
On the day my winner was more settled both standing and on the move. Not
overdone, she is a good size, feminine in head, long tapering muzzle, good neck,
oval chest, well ribbed body with level topline, moved out well to win the
class, Best Puppy Bitch & Res Best Bitch.
2nd: 4439 MACKENZIE, Mrs A Stanegate Savannah with Sweetihoundz(AZ1), I see she
is litter sister to BP and very similar in type as you would expect, just
wanting to play today and not as settled on the move, Given time I am sure she
will come into her own, she has a sturdy body, good forechest, level topline
and well ribbed body.
3rd: 4431 CORNER, Mr N & Mrs C Cishelvine Portia At Carcorn
Class 1961 JB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4441 SCOTT-JOHNSON, Mrs Tracy Louise & SCOTT-JOHNSON, M DOLLYDASH SUGAR
N'SPICE, I found it impossible to assess her movement on the day as she refused
to get her head off the ground, despite the efforts of her handler who tried her
best. Feminine head, long tapering muzzle, dark eye, long neck with prominent
sternum, would prefer to see forelegs supporting the body, she stands wide at
front, not helped by her determination not to co-operate with handler.

Class 1964 OB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 4438 HUTCHINGS, Mrs F Ch Collidach Brook Ling, lovely feminine red bitch,
she is a good size yet still with firm body, classic head with good
pigmentation, dark almond shaped eyes, tapering muzzle, excellent front
construction, elegant neck leading to level topline and well angulated rear. She
excels on the move exhibiting reach and drive, a real pleasure to see, delighted
to hear she is a daughter of a bitch I had previously given top honours to.
Best Bitch.
