1st:ROWE Ch Boloria's Trick or Treat JW VW
Thank you for a lovely entry in both numbers
and quality, the bitch challenge was very closely contested as I was happy
with all of the class winners, a very satisfying morning with the breed,
thanks to my stewards Ian and Pauline Sidgwick. SBD/B 5(2) 1. Dickinson’s
Derdledash Skyfall at Dakotadax JW. 17 months bitch in lovely coat, she is
top size but full of quality and with excellent conformation, quality head
and eye, scored in front action here, later won a good Post Graduate class,
she can do a lot of winning, BSpB. 2. Whittaker’s Bramalodge Beeswing. 2
years, another very good bitch, a size smaller than the winner but not in
her best coat, very good top-line and rear action, a lot to like in her. 3.
Sirrell’s Hopewood Dream Come True. PD 2(1) 1. Davies’ Atahira Finale. 11
months red, a long dog who is still loose in top-line but has a clean
outline with good angulation, I would prefer a longer ribcage, head needs
time to develop. JD 7(2) 1. Phillips’ Tendrow Will To Succeed. 13 months,
lovely proportions and very good coat, very well made at both ends and
scored here in his front action, good head and eyes, well ribbed, RDCC. 2.
McCalmont’s Silvae Bystander. 13 months, slightly longer than the winner for
balance, very good outline, shown in excellent coat, very good head and
expression, I preferred proportions of winner who was slightly cleaner in
front action but these are two top quality youngsters. 3. Akehurst’s Tendrow
Down To The Wire. PGD 6(0) 1. Mountford’s Incordemeo Midnight. 14 months
old, black/tan, best for quality and movement in this class, excellent coat,
bone and angulation, needs firming up, foreface a little long. 2. Matthews’
Sonham Fire Cracker. 2 years old who has a lovely head and expression and
good coat, lovely size, loses his shape on the move and front action could
be better. 3. Clayton-Smith’s Cairparavel Hartnell. LD 6(1) 1. Rowe’s
Boloria Goodnight Mr Tom JW. 20 months, scored in size and front action to
win this class, well ribbed back, good movement and top-line, body coat ok
but could have harder furnishings. 2. McCalmont’s Covellyn’s Cecil at Silvae
(imp CHE). 16 months, bigger dog with superb coat and good ribbing, I liked
his head and expression, very good top-line and rear, needs time to firm up
in front. 3. Christie’s Cloudside Valentino at Decalleigh JW. OD 6(1) 1.
Howlett/Phillips’ Ch. Tendrow Malibar JW. 2 year old in beautiful coat and
in hard condition, excellent head and eye, well ribbed back, could be a
little cleaner through his withers but a very good dog. 2. Akehurst’s
Boloria All Spice. 4 year old, I liked his size and proportions and moved
well when he settled, just a touch heavy in body which detracted from his
neck line. 3. Seath’s Ch. Sunsong Dare To Dream. VD 3(1) 1. Phillips’ Ch.
Royal Pepper’s Vice Versa (imp FIN). 7 year old in great form and carried
himself well scoring in underline here, I loved his type and balance, top
quality, I thought he was outstanding, DCC, BV & BOB, his progeny also did
well I see. 2. Norman’s Ch. Silvae Klansman. 9 years old and pressed the
winner hard, lovely quality all through, I gather I gave him a CC in his
career and pleased to see that he has retained all of his qualities. PB 3(1)
1. Binks’ Tannahill Lovely Day. 9 months of lovely type and beautiful hard
crisp coat, feminine head, good eye, scored in movement and top-line, can
firm up a little in top-line and this is where her litter sister scored to
win Best Puppy. 2. Sirrell’s Hopewood Dream Come True. 10 months without her
coat today, of very good type but needs to shed some puppy fat which
detracts from top-line and front action. JB 9(1) 2 lovely bitches at the top
and both should go on to greater things. 1. McCalmont’s Silvae Fan The
Flames. 13 months, won a tight decision on her ground clearance and top-line
on the move, can firm up a little in front but she is full of quality. 2.
Paterson’s Brumberhill Biscuit to Ambiesque. 16 months, I preferred her for
size and front action but not quite the ground clearance of the winner,
lovely ribbing and coat, I think a little less weight would enhance her, top
quality. 3. Binks’ Tannahill Day By Day. BP. PGB 6(0) 1. Dickinson’s
Derdledash Skyfall at Dakotadax JW. Repeat. 2. Chambers’ Hototo’s Village
Gossip. 2 year old, took my eye on the first circuit for her balance, she is
very good to go over but a little less weight would benefit her, very good
front action but not the drive behind of the winner. 3. Whittaker’s
Bramalodge Beeswing. LB 8(0) Excellent class for depth of quality. 1.
McPherson/Paterson’s Brumberhill Barbed Wire. 3 years, in great coat and has
excellent movement, well ribbed and with hard top-line, scored in carriage
to win this good class, later won RBCC from a lovely line up. Pughe/Fraser’s
Bystock Blue Orchid. 2 years old, I liked her size and proportions and she
is very correct on the move but could have a little more confidence in her
carriage, lovely size, excellent coat and very good head and eye. 3. Arthurs’
Elderkine’s Austin. OB 6(1) Excellent class. 1. McCalmont’s Ch. Silvae Time
After Time at Bronia TAF. Beautiful type and proportions, in great coat, she
scored in neckline and ground clearance here, beautiful head and eye, went
well when she settled and won BCC.
2. Howlett/Phillips’ Ch. Tendrow Makes The
Right Turn JW. 4 year old, another top quality bitch in super coat, just a
touch heavier in body but scored in underline to win this place. 3. Rowe’s
Ch. Boloria Nice ’n Spicy JW. VB 1(0) 1. Rowe’s Ch. Boloria’s Trick or Treat
JW VW. 8 year old, going round the ring like a youngster, lovely size with
good ribbing and correct underline, full of quality, crisp coat, she has
done well for me before and still in good form, she and the veteran dog were
great ambassadors for the breed.
