Great Joint 2002
Best in Show
Dachshund ( Smooth Haired)
Judge : Jane Naylor
It was a great
honour to be invited to judge BIS at this prestigious show, I enjoyed my day
very much, my BIS was Lockett’s Ch Ralines Royal Acclaim. A beautiful and
elegant b of correct construction and outline, good legs and feet, excellent
underline and quarters, her movement was a joy to watch, she was in lovely coat
and condition and in my opinion very worthy of her BIS; Res BIS Swann and
Roberts’ Ch Swansford Lanador. An impressive d, good bone, legs and feet, very
steady on the move and covered the ground really well. BPIS Angear’s Ridgegrove
Cuddley Dudley. How this exhibitor produces these dogs to a pattern I don’t
know, they are of faultless construction and have glamour par excellance, moved
round the ring gracefully. Res Puppy Sexton and Cocozza’s Freecloud Mum’s The
Word. This is an impressive youngster and one that should have a bright future,
she has a lovely head, neck and topline and strong quarters which she uses well
and is as sound as a bell. BVIS Poulter’s Lankelly Betony. There is a lot to
like about this b. She has good head and eye, excellent double coat, nice
outline and is a sound mover. She obviously loves to come to a show as her tail
never stopped wagging.
