Midland Dachshund Club 2002
BEST IN SHOWJudge: Marjorie Knowles
My thanks to the committee of this club for the
invitation to judge BIS, I thoroughly enjoyed my day and
such a nice show spoiled by so many absentees. BIS was
Boyle’s Mini Smooth Ch Radcliffe Immorata at Zarcrest.
Red d, lovely front, nice eye and head, a very cocky
little fellow who commands attention, good body and good
legs and feet, nicely muscled, a free mover. RBIS was
Atkin’s CH Kantis Komanchee. B/t long haired d, good
head, lovely head into good lay back of shoulders, again
well muscled and firm, good bone and feet, a good mover
both ways, if I was critical he has enough coat, if I
had to pick a BOS it would have been the same owners
Veteran b, which I see is his mother and I gave CC to
many years ago, she is still lovely only as ëall old
ones are a bit grey’. BPIS. This line up was not so good
a couple didn’t like me so spoiled their chances bit
with experience will I hope settle down, the mini long
Locket’s Ralin Dumbledore is lovely, super head and eye,
super front and bone, nice quarters, moved well, again
for me enough coat. RBPIS was Price’s Mini Wire Samlane
Jenson. Good head and eye, nice neck into good lay back
of shoulders, good ribbing and good quarters, correct
coat, I don’t like to see minis thin to keep the weight
and these two were super.
