BEST IN SHOW
I was very honoured to be asked to judge BIS at this prestigious show for the second time. I was very impressed by the line up. BIS Burke and Marstons’ Longhaired d Ch Bonavoir Seven Sisters. He stood out immediately and closer inspection left me with no doubts. Well balanced and correct size, excellent clear red coat and very nice moving. RBIS A close run decision. Mini Wire Horswell and Kebotas’ Ch and Jap Ch Drakesleat Baro Trier. Nothing dramatic about this one but won on soundness and balance overall. BPIS This line up caused me more problems as there was no obvious winner. Eventually the wire b Pattons’ Lesandric Like a Butterfly got my decision for her overall soundness, excellent coat and free movement. RBP The long d Mitchells’ Bzonia Monte Cristo. A close decision between these two both worthy specimens of their breed which bodies well for the future. VETERAN It is always a joy to see the oldies having a good time but very hard to judge. One would like to give them all a prize! Winner was Williams’ wire d Ch and IrCh Lieblings Pick n Mix. A very young veteran but oh so sound. There was no provision for Reserve but if there had been it would have been the min long b Locketts’ Ch Ralines Royal Acclaim.
