AV V (12). An excellent entry and very good quality exhibits, most of them were young Veterans but there was plenty of quality still there. All mouths were correct and teeth very clean also trimmed nails. 1. Gordon’s, Ch. Silvae Gemstone at Cempsey. What can I say about this bitch. I gave her her first CC at Crufts in 2000 and she still has what it takes to win. Good profile and has kept her topline and movement. Well presented. Correct size for a Standard wire. Good coat. 2. Davies’s, Ch. Undeg Elenius. A worthy Champion standard smooth I have judged before and placed when a youngster. Pressed the winner hard as she also is the correct size and has kept her topline and movement. Liked her rich red colour. 3. Turner’s, Ch. Marictur Marine. BRACE (5). 1. Callows’, Min Smooths. Two peas in a pod. Mother and daughter lovely pair of rich red girls who never put a foot wrong. 2. Yeomans’, Mini Smooths. Well matched black and tans. Unfortunate to meet the winner. 3. Plevins’, Standard Longs. AV STANDARD PUPPY. (3). 1. Patton’s, Liebling Ponder on Me. Wire haired. I did ponder when I learnt she was unplaced earlier. I found her a sound bitch still a baby and needs to tighten up in hind movement but conformation and colour are good and typical of this breeding. AV MINIATURE P (6). 1. Meads’, Minimead Maid Specially. I liked both these Min Smooth puppies, they had good shoulder placement and good ribbing. My winner won on sounder hind movement. Little to choose between them. 2. Callows’, Garthorne Femella. J. (10). 1. Price’s, Samlane Manilow. Attractive Min Wire youngster. Coat a little shaggy. Good conformation, nice tight feet, good front, head and eye. Won this class on his superb hind movement, which was something I found sadly lacking on the day. 2. Pattons’, Audleys Roads to Lesandic. Standard wire bitch. Correct size, good wire coat. Good keel and ribbing. A little erratic on the day as she moved but she is still young and it had been a long day. 3. Spencers’, Chelridge Ariaden. Minature Smooth. O. (12). 1. Callows’, Ch. Garthorne Highlight. Quality Mini smooth a very worthy Champion from this kennel. Her conformation is correct. Good front, kept her topline standing and moving. Very sound mover. 2. Geeson’s, Abydachs Oh What a Night. Attractive standard Long Hired. Correct conformation. Good ribbing and front. NIce feet and showed his pads when going away. Moved well. 3. Price’s, Brialind Secret Affair by Loretto. Miniature Wire.
