Longhaired Dachshund Club 2009

BEST IN SHOW

Many thanks for the hospitality extended to me at this 80th Anniversary Show. BIS  was Roberts Bronia Major Blink Swansford. Extremely handsome shaded red dog with a clean classic outline, presented to perfection and moves like a dream. Noble head, good front well placed shoulders, good length of rib and superb rear angulation which he used to the full on the move. I understand he gained his title on the day - congratulations. RBIS The min long b&t dog Woods Wildstar Wrenowned. Sound little dog to go over, has plenty of bone and substance would prefer more length of rib but this still has time to come as he is a comparative youngster. Presented to perfection and expertly handled. BPIS Dare's Broniasalvador Of Darsoms, Std Long Extremely glamorous, beautiful clear red, gleamed with condition. Soundly made, exquisite head, lovely eye shape, good rach of neck, well placed shoulders and the soundest of fronts, moves well I am sure one to watch for the future just needs a little more confidence. RBPIS Turner's Rafthouse Eternity, pretty little black and tan bitch, well constructed, moves soundly, well presented, just lost out on maturity compared to the standard which somewhat overshadowed her on the day.
