BEST IN SHOW
The "welcome in the hillside" was as warm as ever. It was a great honour to judge BIS. The breed judges sent me top quality hounds to evaluate. All were immaculately presented and in tip top condition. They were a credit to their owners. BIS, Dible's Ch Lieblings Stormin Norman. The revised breed standard asks for moderately long, no exaggeration, intelligent expression. This two and a half year old red brindle wirehaired dog of correct size with a super harsh coat had all I wanted. Has excellent conformation, was completely sound and in tip top condition with a charming temperament, showed on a loose lead, looked superb on the move, using his hindquarters to great advantage. I loved him. RBIS, Thorn-Andrews' Ch Drakesleat Win Alot. A delightful Miniature Wirehaired brindle dog, nearly 2 years old with a quizzical expression, loved his head, dark almond eye, of very good construction with harsh jacket, never seemed to put a foot wrong. At one with his handler at all times, showing a good outline on the move. He looks quite a character. BPIS, Worswick's Indicott In Tune With Dolyharp. Miniature Longhaired red brindle bitch, one year old today. A lovely puppy in beautiful coat and condition, excelled on the move, showing great extension, handled to perfection by a very excited owner. With luck she should have a promising futre. Res BPIS, Mitchell's Bronia Estee. 8 month Longhaired red bitch, showing a good outline both standing and on the move, in excellent condition with lovely flat coat, very well handled, another with a promising future. BVIS, I was spoilt for choice. Wonderful veterans. Hunt's Ch & Ir Ch D'Arisca Class Distinction Of Carpaccio. Smooth-haired choc/tan, seven and a half year old dog, looking very fit, in hard condition and of correct size, well balanced, of excellent construction, handled to perfection, looked so good on the move.
