Lancashire & Cheshire Dachshund Club 2011
BEST IN SHOW
Championship show: I was delighted to award BIS to
Johnson's Mini Long Haired, Charpurdy Just Iss, out of a very strong line up.
This b/t bitch caught my eye on entering the ring and I was not disappointed
when I went over her. Everything in the right place, loved her head and eye,
she is elegance personified when she moved around the ring, which she did with
drive and enthusiasm. I understand she gained her title on the day - well
deserved. Res BIS was Coxon's D'Arisca Low and Behold. Impressive 21 month old
B/T Mini Smoothhaired dog. Balanced throughout and not overdone in any way.
Good bone and angulation, great ring presence and moved with ease, keeping his
silhouette at all times. Handled to perfection. BPIS was the Standard LH
Mitchell's Bronia Absolute. Superbly constructed 11 month old SR dog, put down
in top condition. Conical head, good reach of neck leading to well placed
shoulders. Prominent forechest and good hind angulation. Well off for bone.
lovely tight feet and coat in full bloom. Strode around the ring showing
himself to best advantage. I understand he already has 2 CCs, one to watch. Res
BPIS was the Standard SH, Hunt's Cwmdarhian Hogan's Hero at Carpaccio. Stylish
11 month b/t, balanced head and a well arched neck, prominent thorax and neat
underline. Well angulated fore and aft. Never faltered on the move.
