Best in Show
Angear's Ridgegrove In Disguise, so smart b/t miniature long haired youngster with intelligent and masculine head on reachy neck, leading to correct shoulders with good length and spring of ribbing; generally so beautifully balanced with good musculature; did not disappoint with his lovely driving movement; a picture both stacked and moving; a true standard in miniature and could not be denied the Top Honours. RESERVE BEST IN SHOW: Seago's & Gibbard's Amlida Evora, feminine b/t smooth haired bitch so confident and well-presented; lovely temperament and with correct fore and hind angulation; just a little heavier in shoulder and lighter in bone than I prefer; very sound and well-balanced and moving freely and true both ways. BEST PUPPY IN SHOW:Geeson's Abydachs Vision Of The Night, lovely red long haired bitch puppy and surely a star for the future; very sound through and so steady for her age; a lovely honest type who moved with drive and a natural carriage; the best of forequarters and lovely to go over with her strength behind, so sadly lacking in her breed in general; one I would like to take home. RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW:McNaughton's Cedavoch Strachur, a showy red standard smooth dog puppy, well-proportioned through; losing out on shoulders and front to the long haired puppy; good hind angulation and true hind movement; do wish his handler wouldn't over-exaggerate his head and neck carriage as he has more than sufficient naturally. BEST VETERAN IN SHOW:Sutton's Damai Master Benedict ShCH, so pleased to see one of my favourite b/t long haired boys in the line-up; would have easily held his own in the B.I.S. line-up; never ceases to amaze me with his presence; the best of head and necks; lovely, strong fore and hind quarters; looking younger every time I see him and shown in such super bloom; a credit to his owner and such a lot to offer the breed.
