Many thanks for the sporting way in which my decisions
were supported. Unfortunately our original Best In Show Judge was unable to
fulfil her appointment due to adverse weather conditions being experienced
in Ireland at the time of the show. Best in Show was Roberts' Swansford
Kestador. This beautiful red Standard Long, just looked every bit a class
act, he certainly did not disappoint when you put your hands on him.
Arrogant expression which can add such a lot, enhanced by correct eye shape
of good colour. Well filled even front which he kept on the move. Firm
topline maintained as he drove out well around the ring. Enough angulation
with well let down hocks. Presented in first class condition, could not be
overlooked. I was delighted to award him Best in Show. Reserve Best in Show
went to Walter's Ralines One Of Those. Cream Miniature Long who gave the
above a good run for his money. Another class act from this well known
kennel. Super pigment for a cream with the darkest of eye colouring. Very
sound both fore and aft. Neat front, stood on well knuckled feet with lovely
well rounded bone. Shown in first class condition, covered the ground with
great aplomb. Best Puppy in Show I awarded to Brown's Mystera Once Upon A
Dream At Garbosa. This Red Miniature Long took my eye as it entered the
ring. What a delight, another full of quality. So confident for one so
young. Super head and eye. So sound on the move, shown in perfect coat. Such
a complete showgirl, at one with her handler at all times, held her shape on
the move and just looked so mature. Should have a promising future. Reserve
Best Puppy in Show, Thorn Andrews Drakesleat Win Da Mere. At her first show.
Very pleasing Miniature Wirehaired. Very feminine head and expression
correct mouth. Enough bone, coat of good texture. Held herself together on
the move and drove out well behind. Best Veteran, Roberts' Ch Swansford
Burburydora. This 10 year old was as fit as they come, plus being a true
showgirl. Still maintained her many attributes. Feminine outlook, coat in
good order and as sound as they come. Made the most of herself on the move,
drove out with such ease.
