Midland Dachshund Club held a Ch show, I would firstly like to thank the Midland Dachshund for inviting me to judge this first venture with the Houndshow which all turned out to run smoothly. It was obvious that the hard working committee had put a great deal of effort into the running of the show & the rings were very good for our short legged friends.

BIS was Dare’s Ch Swansford Nigelladora Darsoms, presented to perfection, stood away from the others, have judged her before, lovely head, good eye shape, sufficient neck, good front, lovely bone & feet, shoulders correct & superb length of ribbing, moves with drive & had that required aloof attitude; RBIS, Armstrong’s Ch Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby, what a beautifully constructed dog. Pushed the L/h bitch really hard for top spot. Love his front shoulder & ribbing & he can really move out, would just prefer him in a slightly lighter mould; BP, Logan’s Goblindol She’s A Diva, a beautifully constructed Min S/h that is all of a piece, so mature for her age, exquisite head, good reach of neck, nice clean front, good shoulders & length of ribbing, keeps a lovely outline of the move & can really drive out; & RBP, Moore & Downe’s Megline Aramis, W/h, 10 months, lovely construction, has everything required, just needs to fill his frame, this will no doubt come with time, an interesting one to watch sure he has a great future in front of him. Magnificent masculine head & superb reach of neck.
