Thankyou for asking me to judge BIS at your well run show, I enjoyed my day very much.

BIS - Thorn-Andrews Ch Drakesleat Too Gud To Be True, not so, she is a little gem.
Good head with lovely furnishings, good length & slope to the upperarm. A lovely long neck with shoulders well placed, long keel & ribbing carried well back. Nice rounded little hams & moving truly, what a joy to find.
Not a big one very well under the 11lbs so it shows you can have a correctly made min dach easily in the weight . Many of us have spent a big portion of our lives breeding & showing beautiful under 11lb dogs. Its by no means easy but what a joy when you get it right , thats what keeps us hooked on Miniatures.
RBIS - Maes-Jones & Bates Derochaise Manhatton, elegant B/Tan Standard with a good harsh coat. Good head & eye nice neck, lovely long keel & ribbing sadly lacking in so many dachshunds, he moved out well.
BPIS - Adams Tecklegarth Gatling, well made, happy & free moving 11month Standard pup. Good head, nice neck, good length of keel & ribbing. A very nice puppy but he is big enough & still has some maturing to do.
RBPIS – Fultons Bothlyn Penny From Heaven, promising baby of just 6 months. Everything is there, she just has to grow on now & fulfill her promise. Rather overshadowed by the exuberant winner.
BVIS – Maes-Jones & Bates Ch Derochaise Black Orchid, what a beauty, with he most beautiful head this lovely Standard bitch is correct for both size & construction, she moved true & well for her advancing years, I loved her.
RBVIS – Phillips Ch Curtisey Boogy Woogy, well boned little chap, nicely constructed with a harsh jacket not moving out like the much older winner but completed a pair of both obviously much treasured champions.
