Many thanks to the Officers and Committee of the Midland Dachshund Club, for inviting me to Judge BIS for them today. The show was well organised and run, and they had a fantastic entry. I had some really class dogs, sent through for me to Judge. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day.

BEST IN SHOW:-

MISS E MITCHELL’S- Ch BRONIA MAVERICK. An excellent choice of by the Miniature Long Judge, and a worthy winner too for BIS. Really well constructed Dog, sound in movement keeping his topline at all times. Nice head, dark, oval eye. Correct and sound front assembly, tight well-kept feet and good ribbing, hind angulation, and sound in movement.

RESERVE BEST IN SHOW:-

MISSES A & A KIRKWOOD-EMERY’S – Ch HELYDON TARTAN TALULA. JW.  A really smart Miniature Wire, excellent breed type, and sound in movement. Nice type head, good reach of neck and  tight angulated shoulders. Good ribbing. Good Hind quarters.

 

BEST PUPPY IN SHOW:-

MRS R LOCKETT-WALTERS:- RALINES ROSES ARE RED. A lovely Miniature Long Puppy, full of promise and enthusiasm. All the correct things one would expect with the front assembly. Good head, eye, reach of neck, tight well placed shoulders, good length of ribbing and sound hind movement. Promising future ahead.

RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW:-

MRS F HANNEY-MITCHELL’S:- NAISHA CRESPALIA BRONIA. (IMP ESP). These two Puppies ran neck and neck for placings. As 1, This Miniature Smooth, her front assembly was as I would expect to find, correct shaped head and eye. Lovely outline at all times moved well and soundly. No obvious fault. Also with a promising future ahead.

 

BEST VETERAN IN SHOW:-

MISS L M BEECH & MESSERS L J & A :- RIOWOOD ARIZONA. JW. 7 year old Miniature Smooth, in fine condition, so sound in movement, always maintaining a good outline both standing and on the move. He never stopped showing himself off for his handler. Correct shoulders, tight well kept feet, good depth of keel and good length of ribbing.

RESERVE BEST VETERAN IN SHOW:-

MRS V PHILLIPS:- Ch ROYAL PEPPER’S VICE VERSA (IMP FIN), A lovely 7 year old Wire haired Dog lovely to go over, sound in build and movement, He powers his way soundly round the ring, his topline, firm at all times, a credit to both breeder and owner.
