I would like to thank the officers and committee for giving me the opportunity to judge BIS at the prestigious Scottish Dachshund Club on Saturday 11 April. My BIS was awarded to Drady's Min LH Dachshund Indiko Fire And Ice JW, a very smart young dog full of quality and type, lovely masculine head without coarseness dark eye, plenty neck, well laid should tight elbows, enough bone, body well balanced, moved soundly, a complete picture. Runner up was Dachshund LH Bronia Luciano owned by Hanney & Mitchell, not yet 12 months old but so well developed and shown in full coat and hard condition. Good head and expression, plenty bone, good legs and feet, body well ribbed back, quarters well muscled, moved well both ways and in profile. My Best Puppy was also Rbis Dachshund LH Bronia Luciano owned by Hanney & Mitchell. Runner up was a young Miniature Wire Hair Kilroy's Janacopp Sweet Child Of Mine. Very nice type shown in good coat and condition. Pleasing head and expression, clean neck and shoulders, enough bone, strong body, good quarters, moved well. Best Veteran: Min Lh Male Woodvine-Shone's Ch Hanishan Fire Cracker, pleasing type, good head proportions, nice eye and expression, clean neck and shoulders, good legs and feet, body well balanced, moved and showed well. Best Special Beginners in Show: Barr's Bronia's Annetta At Lowoods Min Sh Dachshund, nice type, pleasing head shape, dark eye, clean neck, nice body and outline, moved soundly. Runner up was the Smooth Hair, Haggerty's Keijam Heather On The Hill, very nice type, good outline and shown in good coat and condition, excellent head and expression, correct eye shape, strong neck, plenty bone, strong body just let herself down on the move just needs to settle
