LEEDS 2002 NO CC's Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired)
Judge: Mrs J M Westren |
I was very pleased with my entry. I had some super Dachshunds to judge it was a pleasure. It was disappointing for my BOB to miss the Group.
PD (3). 1 Callow’s Garthorne Leading Lad. A very easy winner of this class and RBD. A super p with everything in the right place for his age, the only thing that I would change is his owner; 2 Shutt’s Donnadoon Prince’s Passion. Nice type of p but is a bit proud of his tail, when he learns to keep it down will I am sure do his share of winning; 3 Wright’s Nikki’s Tiny Tiddler.
JD (4). 1 Punter’s Welcumen Whisky. Nice youngster with a future, had a pleasing outline both stood and on the move, very positive hind movement; 2 Barber’s Rivergate Gallanthus. Thought would have been my winner when stood, but didn’t have the hind movement of the winner; 3 Western’s Tydurcwrt Little Soldier.
PGD (5). 1 Barber’s Melriding Lancastrain at Rivergate. I liked the head shape and outlook of this d, he had good quarters with prominent second thigh, his tail let him down; 2 Parish’s Artdach Motivation. Toyish in head compared to the winner, good body shape, pity about his tail carriage; 3 Bassant’s Shardagang Johnny Walker at Crancott.
OD (4). 1 Coxon’s Ch D’Arisca In Confidence. What a cracker, love everything about him, he excelled in top and underline, super show dog, BOB; 2 Punter’s Ch Clipperdown Loganberry Welcumen. Also a very good d, loved his head and expression, showed well; 3 Long’s Radclyffe Kea of Tydurcwrt.
PB (5). 1 Coxon’s D’Arisca On Gossamer Wings. From the moment she cam into the ring she caught my attention and held it, a really super p, BB and BP; 2 Shutt’s Rhinestar Desire of Donnadoon. I liked this p immensely, she excelled in body properties, but couldn’t match the winners attitude; 3 Hayes’ Pipersvale Crystal Clear.
JB (1). 1 Steven’s Barkesvale Clematis. Typical b in every way, but could have been more positive behind.
PGB (6). 1 Callow’s Garthorne Highlight. Super little b correct in every way, splitting hairs when it cam to BB, RBB; 2 Carter’s Royal Expression of Boglands. Good broad quarters on this little red b that matched her front, moved well in profile; 3 Hunt’s Carpaccio Travelling Light.
OB (8). 1
Robinson’s D’Arisca In Bloom at Inkel. A smart b who showed her confidence,
correct in outline, liked her type; 2 Callow’s Ch Garthorne Leading Lady. Good b
and another day places could change; 3 White’s Ch Artdach Temptation.
