My first appointment awarding CCs in this variety. I was very pleased with my class and principal winners, however some dogs that looked a picture standing failed on the move especially in rear movement, my placings reflected this.
PD (6) 1 Mitchells Bronia L’Infinito, stunning red dog, a joy both standing and moving, masculine head, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, short coupled body, good feet and bone, correct quarters, good top and underline, moved around the ring as if he owned it, I was very pleased to award him BP and his first CC, one of many I am sure. 2 Punter’s Welcumen Whisky, b and t, similar type, not as good in front movement. 3 Callow’s Garthorne Leading Lad.
JD (5) 1 Forster’s Geffles Dark N’ Sharp, smart red dog, well balanced, good top line, moved well on good feet. 2 Coxon’s D’Arisca Cut a Dash, b and t dog, looked a picture standing, preferred 1 on the move. 3 Lashbrook’s Milfer Jack The Lad.
PGD (2) 1 Bassant’s Shardagang Johnny Walker at Crancott, sound red dog with good top line, kept on the move. 2 Jones’ Radclyffe Kite, red dog with sound movement, preferred overall shape of 1.
LD (3) 1 Holt and Evans Toleva Trojan Prince, smart little b and t dog, well balanced, moved well. 2 Mendes’ Scharmein Rajah, masculine b and t dog with good top and underline, sound. 3 Punter’s Clipperdown Basil Welcumen.
OD (4) 1 Coxon’s Ch D’Arisca In Confidence, very smart b and t with lovely head, looked a picture standing, moved well with drive, RCC. 2 Punter’s Ch Clipperdown Loganberry Welcumen, very nice red, unlucky to meet 1, not as refined in head.
PB (9) 1 Coxon’s Bedu Love Me Do, red bitch with feminine head, good bone, nice feet, good front, good top and underline, moved well. 2 Jones’ Radclyffe Lullula, red, nice head, front boune sound in movement, a little more wrinkled than 1.
JB (3) 1 Callow’s Garthone Highlight, pretty red bitch, good front, good top and underline, good feet, sound. 2 Mendes’ Scharmein Cassia, b and t, smart well balanced, finer in bone than 1. 3 Pepper’s Deercroft Shades of Red.
GB (4) 1 Kershaw’s Hobbithill elenwe, red bitch with nice head and eye, good top line kept on move, sound. 2 Melbourne’s Melriding Appamatox, b and t bitch, smart, not as good in top line and finer in bone. 3 Pepper’s Deercroft Shades of Red.
PGB (5) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Travelling Light, very smart b and t bitch, good head, well balanced body, good bone, sound movement, considered her for the CC her day will come. 2 Claydon’s Zyldon Hint of Magic, nice b and t bitch, sound, finer in bone than 1. 3 Kershaw’s Hobbithill Elenwe.
LB (8) 1 Bursey’s Berrycourt Dancing Queen at Hartlake, quality b and t bitch, lovely head, well balanced body, correct angulation, good feet, good top and underline. I would be proud to own her myself and was pleased to award her RCC, her first I believe. 2 Widdop’s Jondac Royal Splendour, another very nice b and t bitch, preferred movement of 1. 3 Holt and Evans Toleva True Print.
OB (6) 1 Callow’s
Ch Garthone Leading Lady, femenine b and t bitch, excellent in all departments,
good top and underline, one of a few with prominent breast bone, well balanced
body, looked a picture standing holding everything together on the move, CC and
BOB.
