Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired)
As this was my first appointment awarding CCs I would like to thank everyone for bringing thier dogs along for me to go over.
PD. (8). 1. Mitchell’s, Bronia L’Infinito. Red dog nice shape, good head. Small eye, good reach of neck. Level topline on the move and standing. Moved out well. BP. 2. Bursey’s, Hartlake Blueberry. Nice type similar to first. Good head and ribbing not as tight as first but with time will improve. Kept a nice outline on the move. 3. Stokes’, Webbers Paddy.
JD. (6). 1. Coxon’s, D’arisca Cut-a-Dash. B/t, lovely head, good reach of neck. Nice front and shoulders. Good underline, nice tight feet. Good tail set and length of ear. 2. Lashbrook’s, Mifler Jack the Lad. Different type to first but much the same applies, with much of the same qualities. Moved well and kept topline on the move. 3. Forster’s, Geffle’s Dark ‘n’ Sharp.
PGD. (6). 1. Sharkey’s, Nordach Oberon at Hyshope. Very nice red dog, nice eye, good reach of neck. Good tail set and ear carriage. Level topline which he kept on the move. Good front well ribbed, good hindquarters. 2. Suker’s, Yewlitt Perry. B/t, good mover with good outline on the move. Good chest nice head, good reach of neck, nice tail set and tight feet. 3. Orton’s, Scalamor Willow the Wisp.
LD. (2). 1. Mendes’, Scharmein Rajah. Very impressive b/t. Nice clean outline, well balanced picture. Good head and reach of neck, tight shoulders. Nice topline on the move and standing. Well ribbed, deep front. Went round the ring as if he owned it, really enjoying himself. Well handled. CC and BOB. 2. Reed’s, Welcumen Private Benjamin. Good head, nice outline, correct eye. Good front nice length of ribbing. Moved well.
OD. (5). 1. Coxon’s, Ch. D’arisca in Confidence. Another good quality dog. Classic shape, good head and reach of neck. Well filled front and good hindquarters. Covered the ground well keeping outline. RCC. 2. Scott’s, Bevron’s General Monck. Very nice dog. Good head and level topline. Nice front, good length of ribbing. 3. Hartley’s, Lyrosh don Perinon.
PB. (10). 1. Shutt’s, Rhinestar Desire of Donnadoon. Nice outline, long and low. Good head, reach of neck and well placed shoulders. Moved well keeping a nice topline. 2. Coxon’s, Bedu Love Me Do. 11 months old b/t. Nice outline much the same remarks as first, but I preferred the tighter shoulders of first. 3. Pearson’s, Skykiss Sweet Dreamer.
JB. (5). 1. Blackburn-Bennett’s, Shardagang Memphis Belle. Red bitch with lovely outline, nice head, neck and shoulders. Good ribbing deep front. Kept outline both standing and on the move. 2. Mendes’, Scharmein Cassia. Very nice b/t still very young but went well for her owner. Nice length, sweet head. Well set ears, good ribbing. Should do very well in the ring. 3. MacDonald’s, Bensarka Miss Pepperpot.
PGB. (11). 1. Claydon’s, Zyldon Hint of Magic. Lovely shape, nice head and reach of neck. Good tight shoulders. Good ribbing, nice topline and underline. Moved well. 2. Sharkey’s, Hyshope Maddona. Nice shaped b/t, lovely head. Good reach of neck. Good ribbing, nice on the move. Two very nice bitches. 2. Spencer’s, Hampdach Royal Reflection at Chelridge.
LB. (8). 1. Widdop’s, Jondac Royal Splendour. Well balanced b/t. Good front, nice bone structure. Well spring ribs. Good head with nice almond eyes. Good topline held on the move and standing. RCC. 2. Hunt’s, Carpaccio Travelling Light. Good one, much the same applies as first. A little too low in front but otherwise a very nice bitch. Moved well. 3. Hartley’s, Lyrosh Miss Ellie May JW.
OB. (6). 1.
Callow’s, Ch. Garthorne Leading Lady. Very eye catching b/t. Lovely outline,
feminine head, nice reach of neck. Well filled front, good length. Good
hindquarters which showed in her movement. Kept a good outline on the move. CC
pushed hard for BOB. 2. Coxon’s, D’arisca Germandachs Sweet an’Low (Imp). Lovely
outline. Feminine head. Good reach of neck. Tight shoulders, good length of
ribbing. Well muscled hindquarters. Moved well round the ring. 3. Erigs’, Ch.
Siouxline Angelina.
