LKA 2003 Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) Judge: Mrs B Munt
|
The entry of 101 was an excellent entry. As the elected judge I had thought in some small way I had contributed to this excellent entry. It was a pleasure to judge. I did feel there were a number of exhibits who looked good stacked but disappointed in movement. Quite a few were light in bone.
PD. (15). 1. Baldwin’s, Laurelee One For the Road. He can come up my road anytime. Clear red. Lovely head and expression. Well angulated shoulders and good quarters. So well balanced. Elegant outline. Stylish mover. Looked good in profile. 2. Punter’s, Welcumen Mr Cool. B/t. Pleasing head, good front. Well ribbed. Nice topline. Good overall construction. Sound mover. 3. Lashbrook’s, Merrygarth Jackson at Milfer.
JD. (3). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Dennison. B/t. Nice in head, well filled front. Shoulders well placed. Topline on the move dipped perhaps. Will firm with age. 2. Jones’s, Radclyffe Milvus. B/t. Taller dog, masculine head. Good forechest. Nice bone, outline good. Fair mover. 3. House’s, Choefait Just Monty. Handled by a very young lady who paid attention and made an excellent job of showing.
PGD. (3). 1. Spencer’s, Chelridge Piccolomini. Pleasing head, front well filled. Would like more layback in shoulder. A little high on the leg and could fill out more in body.

CC his third. 2. Scott’s, Bevrons General Monok. B/t. A bit plain in head. Well constructed, strong topline. Good overall body shape. Strong quarters. Sound mover. 3. OD. (6). 1. Sharkey’s, Nordach Oberon at Hyshope. Red of good type. Strong topline. Good front, well placed shoulders, overall outline pleasing. Well angulated quarters. Sound in movement. Looked even better if moved at a quicker pace. RCC. 2. Coxon’s, Ch. D’Arisca in Comfidence. B/t. Well know winning dog. Different in type being built on finer limes. Long and low. PB. (20). 1. McAlister’s, Lochfyne Limelight. Red such a good outline. Built on clean lines. Nice head and neck, topline and angulation. Front needs to develop. Sound mover. Well handled.
