PAIGNTON 2003 NO CC's Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) Judge: Mrs D Cook
PD. (1). 1. Blackburn’s, Bardachs Santa Cruz to Stargang. Lovely puppy of outstanding quality. One of the few in the four breeds of Dachshund I judged on the day that moved with a free flowing stride with far reaching front and driving rear. Has excellent breed type. Totally balanced and sound. BD and BP. PGD. (2). 1. Punter’s, Welcumen Whiskey. Good outline. Lovely head, dark eye. Correct tailset and carriage. Would have liked more drive from rear. 2. Stoke’s, Webbers Paddy. Another with a lovely head, dark eye. Well balanced body. Good shoulder and return of upper arm. Another lacking drive on the move. OF. (2). 1. Punter’s, Clipperdown Basil Welcumen. Lovely type. Excellent muscular condition. Presents good outline. Level topline. Good width of thigh. Moved ok. RBD. 2. Lashbrook’s, Milfer Jack the Lad. Lovely dark eye. Good length of head. Strong underjaw. Level topline. Not the movement of first. PB. (2). 1. Lashbrook’s, Milfer Little Miss Muffet. Quality puppy. Moved very well for age with the required freedom and drive. Presents a lovely outline with good head and eye. RBB. 2. Young’s, Willowheath Wanda. Half sister to first sire. Very similar in type and another sound mover. OB. (3). 1.
Ergis’s, Siouzline Isabella JW. Of outstanding type. Quality and soundness. Has
tremendous ring presence for her size. Her movement is a joy. Pleased to see her
short listed in a strong Hound Group. BB and BOB. 2. Blackburn-Bennett’s,
Shardagang Pavlova. Good outline, long neck, fair front, good depth, good width
of thigh. Sound movement. 3. Vagges’, Welcumen Gi Gi Camette. |
