MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED
PD (3) 1 Butler’s Celtichills Diamond. Sound Black and tan puppy. Good head, strong topline and quarters, clean shoulders and front.Moved steady and true, with the style of an old professional,Just needs to drop into his frame but has time on his side.
JD (7) 1 Barber’s Melriding Meruisti.Very smart black and tan with a good shape and outline which he held both standing and moving. Strong topline and clean flowing lines througout. Still at the awkward juvenile stage with some filling to do but won the class on his positive movement. 2 Melbourne’s Melriding Post Hac Meliora. Black and tan, brother to winner.Nice shaped dog of good balance and size. Well rounded powerful quarters.Moved well but just not as positive as his brother in front movement as yet. 3 Punter’s Welcumen Mr Cool.
PGD (3) 1 Melbourne’s Inkel I’m Rupert of Melriding. Small red dog with all the essentials in the right places.Good shape, strong topline and balanced throughout with everything in proportion to his size.Moved sound and true. 2 Sharkey’s Shardagang Tornado. Black and tan dog with good masculine head.Prominent forechest and well angulated shoulders.Didn’t seem happy on the day and appeared very eneven in topline both standing and moving. 3 Endersby’s Mowbray Music Man.
LD (2) 1 Mead’s D’Arisca Dennison. Elegant black and tan dog who caught my eye straight away.Very classy shape, good length and ribbing, strong topline and well angulated front and quarters.Just needs to firm up on the move where he didn’t just live up to his potential. 2 Parish’s Artdach Motivation..Black and tan dog on more compact lines than winner.Clean shoulders, well filled front and strong topline.Moved soundly around the ring but just lacking the elegance and flowing lines of the winner.
OD (5) 1 Sharkey’s Nordach Oberon at Hyshope. Very sound red dog. Not a glamour dog or extreme in any way but perfectly balanced overall.Good head and eye, well laid shoulders, long ribcage, strong topline and well angulated quarters.Held his shape both standing and on the move where he impressed me with his true, positive movement.C.C. and delighted to hear later that this was his third. 2 Blackburn’s Bardach Santa Cruz To Stargang. Elegant young black and tan.Good balanced outline and level topline. Moved soundly and freely both in profile and coming and going.Just lost out to the winner in maturity of body and quarters. Res.C.C. 3 Punter’s Welcumen Whiskey.
VB (2) 1 Yeoman’s Irish Twirl of Klynerbyner. Very elegant chocolate and tan lady with a beautiful head. Kept her shape really well for her age and certainly enjoyed her day moving around the ring with purpose and drive. 2 Melbourne’s Garthorne Philippa. Neat little black and tan bitch on more compact lines. In lovely condition but her figure was certainly showing her age and she was definately low to ground!Unfortunately this made her movement rather laboured on the day.
PB (4) 1 Callow’s Garthorne Leonie. Very promising red puppy.Loved everything about her from her head to her quarters. She was one of those puppies who seems to have everything in the right place and in the right proportions. She needs to settle a little in her movement but she has time and all her assets on her side.Res.C.C. Best Puppy. 2 Mayger’s Woolsocks Black Satin. Elegant black and tan puppy with many attributes.Good head and neck, well angulated shoulders and prominent front.Came into her own on the move where she moved soundly with style and drive. 3 Poxon’s Robsdac Jayda To Kapodach.
JB (8) 1 Shuker’s Yewlitt Sadie. Lovely shaped red bitch who excelled on the move. Not exactly making the most of her many attributes but a very good bitch with a lovely head, good bone and width throughout. With practice could do well. 2 Voaden’s Berrycourt Black Magic. Quality black and tan bitch with elegance and style. Lovely conformation with clean well laid shoulders, good ribbing, strong topline and good quarters. Another who moved very well. 3 Forrest’s Butes Whispered Prophecy.
PGB (6) 1 Reed’s Deercroft Dolly Daydream. Feminine black and tan.Good length and balance.Elegant lines and carriage throughout.Lovely head and eye.Moved really well both in profile and back and front. 2 Shelton’s Sarade Lady Tara. Another black and tan with a good shape and outline. Good bone and ribbing, prominent forechest and strong quarters. Not quite the elegance of winner. 3 Yeoman’s Yewlitt Terri At Webbers.
LB (7) 1 Ergis’s Bronia Stunning Sophia for SiouxlineJW Sh.Cm. Top quality young red bitch.Lovely head and eye, long clean neck, good bone and ribbing carried well back.Good angulation both front and rear.Certainly is ‘stunning’ on the move where she really comes into her own and moves so soundly with tremendous drive and extension that I found lacking in so many.Never put a foot wrong and obviously enjoys showing off.Pleased to hear she was placed in the group.C.C. & B.O.B. 2 Widdop’s Jondac Golden Dream. 3 Callow’s Garthorne Lady In Black.
