It was a great privilege to go over so many quality dogs and sincere thanks to exhibitors for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. I was spoilt for choice in most of the classes. What a thrill to finish the day by watching my BOB win the Group with such panache.
PD (2) 1 McAulay’s D’Arisca Ensor Doone at Elnside. B/t dog of correct length to height ratio. Well muscled body with good head and adequate front. Strong topline. Moved out with confidence. Well schooled. 2 Coxon’s D’Arisca Definately Mayby. B/t dog of similar type. More compact body, not yet the confidence of 1.
JD (2) 1 and BD. Bursey’s Berrycourt Joint Statement. Red with good length to height ratio. Lovely head, prominent prosternum, and good front assembly. Ribbed right back creating pleasing outline. Pleasure to watch on the move with reach in front and drive from the rear. Adequate muscle but could carry more weight to advantage. 2 Bourhill’s Bronia D’Allegro by Drydenlaw. Another lovely exhibit close up to one excelled in spring of rib. Well muscled body. Not the neck of 1.
PGD (1) 1 Wright’s Nikki’s Tiny Tiddler. Another red who is more on the leg. Lovely head and spring of rib. Good temperament. Could carry more weight.
OD (2) and RBD Coxon’s Ch D’Arisca Supernatural. Another quality b/t exhibit. Elegant with good head. Arrogant carriage on reachy neck. Adequate front and firm topline. Well presented and schooled. Moving a little close behind. 2 McFadyen’s Tamdach Taboo. B/T dog with good front head and spring of rib. Moved out well with confidence. Not the underline or neck of 1.
PB (5) 1 Coxon’s D’arisca Lorna Doon. Compact b/t bitch. Good topline. Moved and showed well. 2 McAulay’s D’Arisca Eliza at Elmside. Similar remarks apply not as correct behind as one. 3 Rowell’s Emmajesk Starlight.
PGB (3) 1 Crawley’s Donnadoon Elouise at Doujac. Elegant b/t exhibit with good head front and neck. Covered the ground well. Close up to winners in challenge but unsetteling outline by bracing herself on the stack a little. 2 Ergis’s Willowheath Susannah from Siouxline. More compact bitch with good topline but not the rear movement of 1. 3 Robinson’s D’Arisca In Particular for Inkel.
LB (2) 1st and RBB Ergis’s Bronia Stunning Sophia for Siouxline. Red of lovely type. Good head and front but could have more arch and length to the neck. Moved out well. 2 Robinson’s D’Arisca In Bloom at Inkel. B/t bitch very low to ground with strong topline moving a little wide.
OB (3) 1 BB BOB and Hound group 1. 2 Bursey’s Berrycourt Dancing Queen at Hartlake. Elegant impeccably constructed bitch with good head and eye. Beautiful mover with commanding presence. In full bloom with charming temperament. Very hard to fault. Shown with sympathy to her best advantage. Incredible to believe she is not already a champion. 3 Hunts’ Ch Carpaccio Shopaholic J.W. Quality exhibit very unlucky to meet one in such fine fettle. Low to ground with good topline. Of more compact build. Another showy exhibit.
