The Min Smooths are in good shape at the moment with plenty of quality all through. The standard of entry was high with some lovely youngsters coming up. My thanks to the exhibitors for giving me such a good entry.
PD. (10). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Way Down Low. S/r dog. Houndy head, good reach of neck and well placed shoulder. Good ribbing and excellent forechest. Nice rounded quarters. Moving with positive stride keeping a good topline. CC and BP. 2. Shelton’s, Barisse Gentlemans Relish. B/t boy. Little high behind at the moment. Has good forechest, well angulated fore and aft with strong movement. 3. Ergis’s, Siouxline Thomas.
JD. (2). 1. Ergis’s, Siouxline Tennyson. Eye catching b/t dog with good angulation and excellent front assembly. Level topline and underline. Good movement. RCC. 2. Widdop’s, Jondac Justin. Larger dog. Good head but not the front of winner. Held a good topline and moved well.
PGD. (6). 1. Ergis’s, Siouxline Russell. Shaded red. Nice head. Good front and ribbing. Well angulated behind and moved well. 2. Melbourne’s, Melriding Post Hac Meliora. Not the head of winner. B/t with good front. Well angulated behind and sound movement. 3. Claydon’s, Deercroft Diplomat.
LD. (7). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Inkel Impresario. Excellent type b/t. Good front. Lovely head, well angulated behind. Moved well keeping a good topline. 2. Baldwin’s, Lauralee One for the Road to Beckel. Shaded red. Good head. Excellent front. Moved very well, was giving his handler a hard time on the day and would not settle. 3. Barber’s, Melriding Meruisti.
OD. (3). 1. Mead’s, D’Arisca Dennison. B/t with good angulation fore and aft. Good topline and underline. Moved very well. 2. Punter’s, Ch. Welcumen Mr Cool. Good head. Excellent shoulders and forechest. Would like more length of ribbing and he is a little straight in stifle. Moved very well. 3. Jones’s, Radclyffe Melanocarypha.
PB. (14). 1. Coxon’s, D’Arisca Art and Design. Small very typy b/t. Good forechest. Excellent front and rear angulation. Keeping a good topline on the move. 2. Daykin’s, Barratini Magic Moment. Shaded red solid body. Well angulated fore and aft. Good topline and underline. 3. Orton’s, Scalamor Whoops a Daisy.
JB. (6). 1. Orton’s, Scalanor Pussy Willow. Good head, front and rear angulation. Moved well holding a good topline. 2. Melbourne’s, Melriding Confederate Bobi. Similar type to winner. Slightly lower. Good to and underline. Moved well. 3. Williams’, Shardagang Mead at Tythe.
PGB. (15). 1. Blackburn-Bennett’s, Shardagang Illustrious. Elegant s/r bitch. Lovely front. Good topline and underline. Well angulated behind with good movement. 2. Callow’s, Garthorne Leonie. Another nice one to go over. Good front and rear angulation. Moved well. 3. Worswick’s, Willowheath Trendie Music to Dolyharp.
LB. (8). 1. Ergis’s, Bronia Stunning Sophia for Siouxline. Eye catching red bitch with all the essentials needed for Ch status. Her day will come. Excellent movement. 2. Callow’s, Garthorne Lady in Black. B/t. Another lovely bitch with good angulation fore and aft. Excellent topline. Not the movement of winner. 3. Reed’s, Deercroft Dolly Daydream.
OB. (7). 1. Coxon and Jeavons and McMillan’s, Can Ch. Grandgables Tickle my Fancy. My star of the day. Full of quality. Red brindle. Good shape to head, reachy neck. Plenty of bone and substance. Excellent forechest and well placed shoulders. Ribbing carried well back with good hind angulation and well rounded quarters. She has good width all through standing foursquare at all times. Her movement was long striding covering the ground well. CC and BOB. Wish she were mine. 2. Hunt’s, Ch. Carpaccoi Shopaholic. B/t. Smaller build. Good angulation fore and aft. Moved well holding a good topline. RCC. 3. Young’s, Willowheath Wanda.
